Telekinesis Training (or Failing, Actually)
Back at the inn, I decided to test my new fancy telekinesis gauntlet.
Earlier, I had lifted a goblin's dagger effortlessly.
So, naturally, I tried something bigger.
I focused on a wooden chair.
The gauntlet pulsed with energy.
The chair shook slightly.
I grinned. "Oh, hell yeah—"
Then…
Nothing.
The chair refused to move.
I gritted my teeth, focusing harder. "C'mon, you stupid piece of furniture—"
Still nothing.
The sword snickered in my head. "Damn. Imagine getting beaten by a chair."
I sighed. "Shut up."

How the Hell Do I Train Magic Control?
Since strength alone wasn't enough, I figured it was time to actually train my magic control.
Only one problem.
I had no f*cking idea how.
✔ Meditation? Sounds boring as hell.
✔ Waving my hands and chanting? Not happening.
✔ Just "believing in myself?" Yeah, no.
I groaned, collapsing onto my bed. "I'll deal with it tomorrow."
Then I went to sleep.

The Next Morning – A New Character Appears
I barely made it to class before the bell rang.
Not that I cared.
I was too busy ignoring everyone and pretending to be a normal student.
That's when I noticed her.
A girl, sitting near the window, buried in a thick magic textbook.
✔ Shy. Nerdy. Glasses.
✔ Completely alone.
✔ Didn't talk to anyone.
I recognized her instantly.
One of the game's side characters.
---
The Nerd Girl – The Walking Magic Encyclopedia
In the game, she was just a background character.
She had no friends.
No one talked to her.
And she spent all her time reading.
But—if the heroine saved her from bullies, she became an "info NPC" for the player.
✔ You could ask her about magic theories.
✔ You could get hints about hidden quests.
✔ But outside of that? She had no real role.
I glanced at her for half a second.
Then I ignored her.
Not my problem.

Falling Asleep in Class (Bad Idea)
The teacher started droning on about magic theory.
I pretended to listen.
Then I accidentally fell asleep.
I woke up to the teacher slamming a book on my desk.
"Wake up, Leon! Answer the question!"
I blinked. "…Huh?"
The class stared at me.
The teacher crossed his arms. "Explain the difference between external and internal magic control."
I stared back.
Completely f*cking clueless.

Asking the Nerd for Help
I sighed. "Can I phone a friend?"
The teacher raised an eyebrow. "Excuse me?"
I turned to my seatmate—the nerd girl.
She froze.
I leaned over and whispered, "Hey. Help me out here."
Her eyes widened in shock.
Like she couldn't believe someone was actually talking to her.
"U-Um…" She hesitated, clutching her book.
I gave her a look. "C'mon. I'm dying here."
She gulped, then whispered back—
"E-External magic is manipulating mana outside the body. Internal magic is controlling mana within yourself."
I repeated it out loud.
The teacher nodded. "Correct. Try staying awake next time."
I sighed in relief. "Yeah, yeah."
I leaned back and muttered, "Thanks."
The nerd girl turned red and quickly buried her face back into her book.
Huh. That was… surprisingly easy.
Maybe I should talk to her more.
She probably knew exactly how to fix my magic control problem.

Final Thought – Maybe I Just Found My Magic Teacher
Telekinesis training? Failed.
Magic control? Still don't understand sh*t.
Found a possible info source? Maybe.
I smirked.
"Yeah. This might actually work out."
The sword hummed. "Oh great. Another person in your life."
I rolled my eyes. "Shut up."
For now, I had a new plan.
If I wanted to master magic control—
I needed to talk to the nerd.
