Chapter 33 – A Dungeon, A Demon, and A Whole Lot of Bullshit

The Academy Dungeon Event – AKA, A Huge F*cking Problem

The day started like any other.

Then the announcement came.

"All students will be participating in the annual Academy Dungeon Expedition. Form your teams and prepare accordingly."

I clicked my tongue. "Oh, f*ck off."

Because I knew exactly what this was.

✔ A mandatory dungeon event.

✔ Students had to form teams and explore the lower floors.

✔ In the game, a demon or high-level monster would appear.

✔ The heroine was supposed to barely win.

Only problem?

Seria was weak as sh*t right now.

Which meant this whole event could turn into a bloodbath.

---

Forming a Team (Not That I Had a Choice)

I wasn't about to team up with some arrogant noble a who thought he was the main character.

So, naturally, I turned to the nerd girl.

She flinched when I walked up to her. "W-Wha—"

I smirked. "Yo. We're teaming up."

She blinked rapidly. "T-Teaming…?"

"Yeah. I need a magic expert, and you need someone who can actually fight. Works out, right?"

She hesitated… but nodded. "O-Okay…"

That's one.

Now, for the last spot—

A random guy walked up. "Hey, you two need a third?"

I glanced at him.

✔ Normal dude.

✔ Didn't seem annoying.

✔ At least had a sword.

I shrugged. "Sure, why not?"

And just like that, our team was set.

---

Entering the Dungeon – Everything Goes to Sh*t

The dungeon was a massive underground labyrinth, filled with monsters and traps.

At first, everything was normal.

✔ Students fought weak monsters.

✔ Some nobles acted cocky as hell.

✔ Seria and her group took the lead.

Then—

A scream echoed through the halls.

And suddenly—everything went to sh*t.

---

The Demon Appears – And Starts Slaughtering People

The torches flickered.

The air grew thick with blood.

Then, from the shadows—

A massive, jet-black demon with glowing red eyes stepped forward.

A student barely had time to scream before the demon ripped him in half.

Blood splattered across the stone walls.

The other students panicked instantly.

✔ Some ran.

✔ Some tried to fight—and got torn apart.

✔ Some froze in terror.

I exhaled sharply. "Well. That escalated quickly."

The nerd girl was trembling beside me.

The random guy looked like he was about to piss himself.

And Seria?

She stepped forward, gripping her sword.

"I'll stop it!" she yelled.

I muttered under my breath. "Yeah, good f*cking luck with that."

---

Seria Fights – And Barely Does Anything

Seria charged at the demon, slashing at its chest.

The blade bounced off its skin.

Seria staggered back, eyes wide. "W-What?!"

The demon grinned.

Then it swiped its claws—sending her flying into a stone wall.

She hit the ground hard, coughing up blood.

The other students watched in horror.

Because at that moment, they all realized—

Seria wasn't strong enough to win.

The demon laughed darkly.

"Weak. Pathetic. More lambs to the slaughter."

I clenched my jaw. "Tch. F*cking hell."

I couldn't just let this thing massacre everyone.

But I also couldn't let Seria or the others see me bite it.

I needed a plan.

Fast.

---

Figuring Out a Plan – How the F*ck Do I Hide This?

If I fought normally, I wouldn't be able to match it.

If I bit it in front of everyone, questions would start flying.

Which meant—

I needed to attack, hide, bite, and power up before anyone noticed.

I exhaled sharply, rolling my shoulders.

"Alright. Time to work some f*cking magic."

I turned to the nerd.

"Cover me with a distraction spell."

She flinched. "W-Wha—?"

"Just do it!"

She hesitated—then quickly chanted.

A burst of blinding light filled the dungeon.

The demon growled, momentarily disoriented.

And in that split second—

I vanished into the shadows.

---

Final Thought – Time to Even the Playing Field

The demon was powerful as hell.

But once I drained it?

It wouldn't stand a f*cking chance.

I grinned in the darkness, licking my lips.

"Let's see how you like being the prey."
