Light snoring could be heard coming from outside on the couch, as Kaylee was fast asleep. She must've been tired than she thought because she usually was a quiet sleeper.
Tiffany had always told her prior that she thought Kay was dead, because she would never hear anything coming from her bedroom. The same couldn't be said for Tiffany.
Tiffany did snore on most occasions, especially when she was exhausted from the night before. Kaylee continued to sleep, as she felt someone poking her a bit.
She tried to brush it off until she heard someone calling her name to wake up. " Kay... Yo, Kay? " he would continue to call out to her.
" Damn— yo ass can really sleep. " Justin remarked as another male would laugh, hearing footsteps walking towards the kitchen.
" Haha— yeah— she seems like she knocked out for the count. " Mark would chime in to say. Justin turning his head a bit to look back at Mark.
" Yeah I know... " Justin chimed in to say.
Mark shrugging a bit as he started to put on his long sleeve black shirt over his black tank top as he spoke to Justin.
" Just let her sleep a bit longer? "
" Dude— I gotta go somewhere. I got errands to run and not to mention— I don't want her here by herself— ain't you leaving too? " Justin commented arching a brow.
Mark chuckled and nodded.
" Yeaaa man— I gotta jet, I got an interview I gotta go to— for you know that construction company I told you about last week. Besides, she wasn't my company— she was yours. " Mark stated.
" Well my company needs to get up!! " Justin said louder trying to get Kaylee's attention. Who was starting to come too, thanks to all the commotion between them both.
Justin noticing she was moving around, walked over and started to clap his hands around her earlobe. " Wakey ! Wakey ! " he said in a greeting tone.
Kaylee squinting her eyelids, as she allowed the natural light to hit her face and skin. Looking around her surroundings first before her eyes landed on Justin.
" ... Mmm.. wh—what time is it? " she asked him.
" Girl it's 9:45 get up! Mark and I got shit we gotta go too, so you got to go home. " Justin said in a bit of a rush looking at his watch on his wrist.
Gradually Kaylee started to sit up from the couch, as she saw Mark had came home— not knowing when, but she finally did see his face. Mark smiled at Kaylee a bit and headed for the front door.
" Morning sleepy head— goodbye sleepyhead, I hope you and Tiff work whatever girl issues yall are having. We still have that trip we all gotta go too. " he explained, and with that Mark left the apartment.
Kaylee yawned, not being able to respond to Mark as he left as quickly as she saw him. Justin snapping his fingers at Kaylee to put some more pep in her steps.
" Come on come on— I gots to get you back, I'm on a timeframe here. " Justin remarked, as he went towards the front door and grabbed his car keys.
Kaylee continued to yawn as she slowly looked around for her socks and eventually found them. Putting them back on her feet and stretching as she got up from the couch.
Justin grabbing the blankets she used and quickly placing them in the hallway hamper, and grabbing the other blankets and putting them back into the closet hallway.
She noticing how Justin was being, and shook her head a bit as she started to put her shoes on. " ... You went from nice.. to kicking me out so quick.. " she grumbled.
" I know I know—- but I forgot I had a few errands I had to run before Mark comes back, and since I didn't want you and Tiffany killing one another I decided to come get you last night. " Justin explained while coming back to the front door.
" However the post office opens at 10am, and I wanna get there before the lines get long and I cannot mail this off in time. Then I gotta go grocery shopping because I didn't get everything I needed to get last night. " he continued to point out.
While the two of them headed down the apartment complex hallway and towards the car. Lucky it wasn't chilly outside— so Kaylee wasn't too upset, at what she was wearing.
She was only slightly annoyed for being woken up the way that she was, but she decided not to comment on it, knowing Justin would only argue with her about it.
The two of them quickly got in his pick up truck, as the male started his car and immediately drove off the parking lot and headed back to Kaylee's apartment.
After some time, Justin arrived at her complex, and pulled directly in front of the building. Putting his car in park, as he looked over at Kaylee whom unlocked her seat belt.
" Sorry— for rushing you, but I did have a good time last night. When I ain't busy, we should do this again sometime. " Justin said.
Kaylee glanced over at him and nodded briefly, as she grabbed the door handle and cleared her throat before getting out entirely. " ... Thanks... for the help... "
She was somewhat happy to be back, but also it felt like dread coming back here. She noticed as well that Tiffany's car was gone, along with Bradley's charger.
Indicating he did indeed leave, but she also stepped out as well. Kaylee didn't know where Tiffany would've gone, but she frankly didn't care.
After stepping out of Justin's car, Justin would wave at her and drive off quickly, as he would blast his music. Kaylee looked back at him, seeing how quickly he left.
" ... He is... ugh... " she would remark aloud to herself, as she headed inside the apartment complex and through the lobby up to her own apartment.
She was thankful that even though she was mad at Tiffany she didn't forget her apartment keys, leaving in a fit of rage before grabbing them. That way she wouldn't even have to call Tiffany and ask her to let her inside.
Immediately Kaylee unlocked her apartment door and walked inside. The apartment itself looked intact, indicating that nothing out of the ordinary looked out of place.
She sighed, seeing as how dishes were in the sink, along with four wine glasses on the countertop. The living room area had movie cases scattered on the table and the DVD player reader was still on.
She eventually walked down the hallway, and noticed that Tiffany's bedroom door was wide open, and she could see clothes scattered over her floor. Some looked like male clothing, and of course her bra and panties.
Which is precisely what Kaylee assumed they had done anyways. They must've had a date night, had sex and then perhaps went for breakfast? She didn't really know, since Tiffany also took her own vehicle.
Kaylee went inside her bedroom, and inhaled as she noticed nothing looked touched. Everything was where it should be, her bed was still made up, along with her television was off and chair was pushed in.
She was at least grateful that Tiffany and Bradley didn't insert themselves in her room, and touch anything that belonged to her. Truthfully she was shocked, because of how Tiffany did her last night, she felt her rudeness wouldn't know any bounds.
Kaylee would eventually collapse on her bedsheets feeling the cold touch of them. Screaming inside her bed, before rolling over and staring at her fan.
She hated this, because now she was somewhat wide awake, and even if she wanted to go back asleep, she now couldn't. Thanks to Justin rushing her out the house, all now she could do was eat, shower and do nothing.
She had no plans this weekend, and the plans she did have was to sleep in, study a bit, and also try and catch a movie with Tiffany.
Although she felt that had to be canceled now, thanks to their fighting ordeal. Kaylee, would find the strength to eventually get up from her bed, and head into her closet and go take a shower following the rest of what she had plan to do.
Time continued to go on until it was almost noon, and Kaylee finished cleaning herself up, along with eating some cereal. She wanted to cook, but since Tiffany left the kitchen a mess she didn't wanna do that.
They already had their rooms as roommates lined up, and if someone was the last one using the kitchen they had to clean them. She didn't know why Tiffany wouldn't clean— as they had a working dishwasher.
She even left the living room messy, and her own room. It wasn't like Tiffany to be honest, when they started speaking about being roommates they made it very clear to one another how they both liked to live.
It would be neat and organized, but so far Tiffany was being the opposite of that. To be frank, Kay could only blame Bradley as he was clearly a bad influence for Tiffany.
However, she wouldn't listen to reason when it came to her boyfriend. No one liked him besides Tiffany and Bradley's stupid football friends. Whom only hung out with Tiffany because she was dating Bradley.
They also wanted to date Tiffany too, which Kaylee tried to explain months ago as well. That was another fight that happened between them as well. It was always whenever Kay tried to give friendship advice.
Tiffany would quickly get defensive, shut her down and defend whomever Kaylee was against. It was as if she valued popularity more than her own morals and dignity.
Kaylee was sitting in her bedroom twirling around in her chair, as she had gotten on her laptop and started playing a computer game.
She eventually got bored, and checked her clock noticing it was going on 11:55am. She wondered where Tiffany could be, as they definitely needed to speak to one another.
It would be awkward and weird for them to be roommates and not make up or at least find out if they ever could. Perhaps, Tiffany was trying to move out after the ordeal, or maybe already had?
Kay didn't wanna think that way, but the fact that she didn't know where Tiffany was, made all the room to make guesses. After a while, Kay would try and think of a way to relax her mind.
She would just simply wait for Tiffany to come back home. She hoped that would be soon, as she wanted all of this to finally be over and done with. In the meantime, Kay decided to watch television and chill for the time being.
