A New Ally

Anyone would find her behavior weird and confusing. Seeing Ruby curl up with a cold face pitifully, Ada was worried that Ruby would misunderstand her. So she quickly explained, "Ruby, I'm not criticizing you. I'm just curious."

'Come downstairs? Dose he know where I am?' "Let's go, Ada!" Ada helped Ruby to get out of bed. "Travon is still in the kitchen downstairs."

"We don't tell him. Let's leave quietly." Ruby didn't want to see him at all. She knew that Travon might be angry, but she didn't care. Why would she care about how he felt?

With a gentle smile, Travon said in a soft and cautious voice as if he was afraid of startling his beloved girl. "Honey, I made you your favorite... Honey?" As Ruby had expected, when seeing the empty room, Travon angrily threw away the food and kicked over the bedside table.

"It's alright," said Ruby as she secretly put her hand behind to hide the wound caused by the stone from Ada. Eldwin noticed Ruby's action and coldly stared at Ruby's face, which made her hair stand on end. She pushed Ada and said, "Ada, he's here to pick me up. You should drive home by yourself."

"By the way, don't forget that l'm with you tonight." Before getting into the car, she didn't forget to tell Ada how to deceive her parents.
