The Love of the Century

By Biplob Kabiraz

A person survives, as long as the body breathes,But the heart dies in the void, where loneliness grieves.Without the touch of love, this world is empty,Like a moonless sky, a life that's simply empty.

The heart longs for a hand of light,To hold it, to end the endless night. With the essence of love, it fills the soul,Where no pride, no regrets take their toll.

A person may live, their breath still flowing,But who will listen to the heart that's slowing?Without love, the heart stays in sorrow,Like a river losing its flow in a drought tomorrow.

So I say, love with a heart that's pure,On life's path, let dreams endure.A person lives, and their heart survives,When love awakens, in the rhythm of their lives.

A person survives, within their own shade,But the heart dies, when love begins to fade.
