The Color of Love

By Biplob Kabiraz

A person survives, as long as the body breathes,But the heart dies in the void, where loneliness grieves.Without the touch of love, this world is empty,Like a moonless sky, a life that's simply empty.

The heart yearns for a hand like light,To hold it, to end the dark night. With the fragrance of love, it fills the soul,Where no pride, no regret will take its toll.

A person may live, their breath still strong,But who will listen to the heart's silent song?Without love, the heart stays in sorrow,Like a river losing its flow in a drought's narrow.

So I say, love with an open heart,On life's path, sow dreams and play your part.A person survives, as long as their heart thrives,For love is what keeps the soul alive.

A person lives, within their own shade,But the heart dies, when love begins to fade.
