At Nightingale Academy, where heroes are forged based on the destructive power of their abilities, Troy stands at the bottom of the hierarchy. His gift? Bubbles, harmless, fragile, and utterly unremarkable in a world where strength defines worth. Mocked by peers and ignored by the system, he struggles to prove that power isn’t just about destruction.
But when a single night shatters his perception of what it means to be a hero, Troy is forced to confront the dark truth behind the heroes he once admired. In a world where justice is painted in shades of gray, he must carve his own path, one where power is redefined, and saving lives means more than just winning battles.
Even if it means standing alone.
Good story with interesting premise and plot, the characters voices felt alive. the pacing was smooth the mc struggles was relateable, and writing quality is good. The story has immense potential Looking forward to more chapters.
It's the typical MC gets underestimated at the beginning but is actually stronger than everybody thinks. If you like this trope, this is the story for you. Still, the book does a few things that make it unique and interesting. Like for example the MC's powers are actually quite interesting. I really like the concept of creating bubbles. The story picks up pace pretty fast, too. You basically have action right from the beginning so it really ceeps you hooked, since the grammar is very good as well.
This is content warning. This story start off very soft but delves into serious worldly and personal problems, don't be fooled by its friendly chapters in the beginning. If you struggling with emotional illness or depression... Then I advise you not to read this book. Have content that can cause unhappiness and depression.
Garbage!! Complete garbage!!! My dead guinea pig could write a better story! Bubbles? Really? What, did you do watch an episode of of The Boys and then an episode of SpongeBob and decide to write a story about a bubble blowing baby in the world of The Boys? Troy is a wimp and Starman should have pounded him into pulp. I’d rather 💩 in my hands and clap than continue reading this dribble! I’d rather clamp a car battery to my nipples then try to endure another moment of this putrid word diarrhea. Clearly an amateur writer with no real imagination, I think I am now dumber for reading this! [img=recommend][img=recommend]
This is a good story, the writing quality is good and is also emotionally resonant, especially with the struggles of the main character Troy. It also delves in what it means to be a hero and when standing alone to do what is right can be hard, but it also emphasizes what truly is heroism.
I was surprised by the beauty of the cover! But the underlying idea of this book was even more beautiful! It's the type of novel I dream of reading: comforting, advocating construction and not destruction. The kind of story that we no longer know how to tell. Thank you to all those who still have the courage to tell stories where love is stronger than hate.
Original concept, does a great job appealing to emotion. I enjoy your prose and it is pretty easy to understand what is happening. The dynamic between (who i imagine is) bubble boy and star man has potential to be similar to like obito and kakashi. Keep writing!!!!
I think overall its a good story with a lot of potential and overall a fun premise. My biggest flaw with the series is that the early chapters are very cookie cutter, and the characters are difficult to see as more than two dimensional. This vastly improves as the story goes on, but the early chapters are a bit of a slog before you get to the good concepts and interesting story beats. All in all good read, 8/10
love it! It's a good story, and Troy's determination inspires me! it's really cool to see him grow through intensive training! I'm going to add this to my collections and keep reading
