The Arrival of the God Hunters

Several days after the incident with the Black Family, the village began to return to its usual peaceful life. The villagers went about their daily activities as usual, though now they felt much safer because of Feng Tian's presence.

However, far beyond the village, in a large city surrounded by towering stone walls, rumors of the "Village's Guardian God" had reached many powerful ears.

Inside a grand hall, a man in white robes sat on a tall chair, his handsome yet cold face watching sharply. In front of him, a trembling messenger knelt fearfully.

"So... you're saying someone drove off the Black Family's men with a single strike?" he asked quietly, though his voice was sharp as a blade.

"Y-yes, my Lord..." replied the messenger, stuttering.

The man smirked slightly. "Interesting… If he really is a god who descended to the mortal world, then... he is a threat to my plans."

He stood up slowly, then turned toward a large, scarred man standing beside him — an intimidating figure exuding a deadly aura.

"Lang Mo, go to that village. If he really is a god... test his power. If he's just a boastful mortal... kill him."

Lang Mo smirked coldly. "Yes, my Lord."

Elsewhere, Feng Tian was fishing by the river, enjoying the gentle breeze while watching the clear flowing water.

Hei Wu sat nearby, calmly slicing fruit.

"Master, I've heard from the next village that some strange people are asking about you," Hei Wu said quietly.

Feng Tian smiled as he reeled in a large fish. "Let them be. The world is vast. I have no intention of meddling in their affairs."

"But what if they bring trouble?" Hei Wu asked again, looking at his master seriously.

"In that case... I'll deal with it," Feng Tian replied casually, tossing the fish into a basket.

Hei Wu sighed. He knew well that if Feng Tian ever got serious, this world would tremble with just one step of his.

Later that afternoon, as the sun began to set, casting an orange glow across the sky, a black horse galloped toward the village.

Atop the horse was Lang Mo, the feared god hunter, his sharp gaze locked onto the small village.

When he reached the village gates, the villagers recoiled in fear upon seeing the terrifying figure.

"Hey! Which one of you is Feng Tian?!" Lang Mo shouted loudly, his voice echoing across the village.

Feng Tian, who was calmly drying his fish near his house, let out a soft sigh.

"Looks like we have another guest, Hei Wu."

Hei Wu stood up, his face turning serious. "Master, allow me to deal with him."

Feng Tian gave a faint smile. "No, I'll handle this myself. I'm curious who dares seek me out."

Feng Tian walked leisurely to the center of the village, where Lang Mo was waiting.

Lang Mo sneered when he saw Feng Tian's simple appearance — plain clothes and no weapon.

"So, you're Feng Tian? The one they call a god?" Lang Mo mocked.

Feng Tian raised an eyebrow, smiling politely. "I've never claimed to be a god. It's people who exaggerate."

Lang Mo laughed loudly. "Good, that means you're just a mortal. Now, surrender and come with me. Or... die right here."

The villagers gathered, trembling with fear. They knew Feng Tian's power, but Lang Mo exuded a chilling killing aura they had never felt before.

Yet, Feng Tian just smiled. "You want to drag me away? I think you've got the wrong person."

Lang Mo drew the massive sword from his back. A dark aura surged from the blade, cutting through the air around them.

"So you choose death?"

But before Lang Mo could move, BOOM!

The ground beneath Feng Tian cracked, and in an instant, Lang Mo was thrown backward, smashing into a house wall, destroying it completely.

Everyone stood frozen in shock.

Lang Mo staggered to his feet, his face pale. "W-what was that…?!"

Feng Tian walked toward him slowly. "I came to this world to live peacefully. But if anyone disturbs me, I won't hesitate to act."

Lang Mo gritted his teeth and lunged with his massive sword. But in a blink, Feng Tian was already standing in front of him, touching Lang Mo's forehead with one finger.

BOOM!

A tremendous aura burst out, and Lang Mo's sword shattered to dust. Lang Mo was flung far away, this time unable to stand back up.

The villagers cheered quietly, amazed at Feng Tian's strength.

Hei Wu walked up with a smirk. "Master, you're still too gentle. He deserved to be crushed completely."

Feng Tian sighed. "I don't like killing unnecessarily. But if enemies keep coming…"

His eyes gazed up at the sky, as if seeing something far beyond human sight.

"It seems… they've begun to realize I'm here."

-----

Far away, beyond the mountains, a spy who had been secretly watching the fight ran to report to his master.

"My Lord… he's not an ordinary human. He truly is… a god."

In a dark room, a figure cloaked in black smirked coldly.

"Good. So the dragon has finally left its den."

"Summon all god hunters. We will capture him… or destroy him."
