Meet my girlfriend

"Knock knock, may I come in?" Giselle asked, standing at Victor's chamber door.

"Yes, please," he replied, maintaining his busy demeanor.

"I'm sorry, I got confused about the floors and ended up late," Giselle said.

"I'm very busy, please try to be on time. The time span I had allocated for our discussion has been reduced," Victor said briskly.

Writer's note: "He even pushed back his 1-to-2 meeting just to meet her. Acting all busy now... love-struck fool... facepalm"

"So, are we clear on the requirements? Can you please recite what was discussed in the earlier meeting?" Victor added, trying to stay focused.

"Sure, sir. So the plan was..." Giselle began.

Victor's eyes softened as he listened, his mind drifting as he admired her. She was wearing a pink shirt with the sleeves rolled up, white trousers, and a small scarf tied around her neck. Her straight hair was tied in a neat ponytail, and she wore round, gold-framed glasses. A watch adorned her left wrist, while a small bracelet with a panda pendant dangled from her right wrist. She looked effortlessly clean and elegant, her posture perfectly poised as she spoke with confidence and clarity about the details of the project.

Victor couldn't help but be captivated by her presence—she was not only intelligent but had an elegance that was impossible to ignore.

"Is there anything else to be added, sir?" Giselle asked.

"Nope, you seem to be going in the right direction," he replied, his voice steady but his eyes betraying his admiration.

"If there is nothing else, then I'll take my leave," she said, attempting to remain calm while her mind spun with memories of the chaos from New Year's.

Unwillingly, Victor responded, "Sure," his voice laced with a quiet reluctance.

As Giselle walked towards the door, it suddenly swung open with a bang, startling both of them. A woman stormed in, slamming the door behind her, her voice full of anger. "Who is the girl you are in love with?!! Why won't you marry me?" she screamed.

Giselle, sensing the tension in the room, recognized this moment as something straight out of a drama. "I'll take my leave..." she started, trying to make a graceful exit.

But before she could, Victor swiftly grabbed her arm, pulling her to his side. "Play along, please," he whispered in a low, pleading voice. Giselle blinked, caught off guard by the sudden change in the scene. She was about to protest when Victor spoke up again, a smirk crossing his face as he said, "I'm in love with her. Meet my girlfriend, Giselle Dawnmist."
