Chapter 28- take the initiative

Regina seemed to be sleeping uneasily. As she turned over, the covers slipped off her, and with each heavy breath, her chest rose and fell, the faintest trace of her tempting curves becoming visible...

Waldo stood in the doorway, his gaze deep and focused on the person lying on the bed. At Regina's soft murmur, the calm expression on his face darkened, a trace of cold hostility creeping into his features.

With a loud "bang," the door slammed shut, and Waldo turned, walking away. The sudden noise jerked Regina awake from her dream, her body shooting upright. Eyes wide, she yelled, "Cornell, is it someone here to collect a debt?"

Her mind was clouded for a moment, but as she fully woke up, Regina suddenly realized she wasn't at home...

She swallowed hard, breathing deeply as she lowered her gaze to her chest, feeling her heart pounding in her chest. Regina exhaled slowly, preparing to lie back down when the door opened again...
