Feeling the message conveyed by the stone stele, Light didn't care much.
After all, without a wand and Magic Power, the added Mileage Points weren't very useful.
He didn't know how closely the formation conditions of the Obscurial were related to Magic Power, so he still needed to be careful.
After watching the owl fly away, Light was going to continue his part - time job of delivering newspapers.
Although he knew he could enroll in school, he still had to work, otherwise Mrs. Cott would be worried.
When he went downstairs, he met Mrs. Cott just as he was about to go out and told her.
'Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry sent me an acceptance letter. If you see some strange people coming, don't worry! Just wait for me to come back.'
Mrs. Cott responded verbally, but inwardly she started to worry. 'Could something have hit Light hard?'
Light still worked as usual. He delivered milk in the morning, newspapers at noon, and collected milk bottles in the afternoon.
This fully demonstrated the steadiness of a social animal who had been toughened up by society.
A few more days passed. When Light returned to the orphanage after delivering milk, he saw a huge figure that didn't look like a human standing in front of the orphanage gate at the intersection.
As soon as Light saw this huge figure, he knew right away who it was and quickly ran over.
He thought to himself, 'It's Hagrid! I thought it would be Professor McGonagall or Professor Flitwick. There's no way it would be Snape. I'm not a pure - blood.'
Mrs. Cott had already learned the ins and outs from this half - giant with messy hair and beard but full of oppression.
She also knew that Light was going to Hogwarts to learn Spells. Just as she was about to invite Hagrid into the house, Light had already reached the door.
Seeing Light coming, Mrs. Cott waved to him.
"Hello! I'm Light Rogers," Light said as he came in front of Hagrid.
Looking at the chubby half - face not covered by the beard and those shiny black small eyes, he spoke.
Hagrid laughed heartily and said, 'Hey there! I'm Hagrid. I'm the gatekeeper and gamekeeper at Hogwarts. This is Harry. He'll be your future classmate.'
Only then did Light notice the person hidden behind Hagrid's huge figure.
The thin figure was wearing clothes that were obviously ill - fitting, old round glasses, and long hair that couldn't cover the lightning - shaped scar on his forehead.
'Hello, I'm Light Rogers. Just call me Light,' he said as he held out his right hand to the savior in the prophecy.
'Hello, I'm Harry Potter,' Harry said shyly as he also held out his right hand.
Just then, the stone stele in his mind trembled and a message came.
'Completed the milestone The Savior in the Prophecy, Mileage Points +1.' After receiving the message, Light calmly shook hands with Harry.
Seeing that everyone knew each other, Mrs. Cott invited everyone to enter the house.
Hagrid kept refusing and said in a muffled voice, 'There isn't enough time. Searching for Harry caused a bit of a delay. We still need to buy all the necessary items for new students.'
After saying that, he stroked Harry's head with his big hand.
At this time, Mrs. Cott asked worriedly, 'I wonder how much these things will cost! We're a bit short of money.'
Hagrid gave a simple and honest smile and mumbled, "Students like Light are sponsored by the Ministry of Magic. They'll have to pay it back after graduation, but don't worry about it for now."
"That's great!" Mrs. Cott heaved a sigh of relief.
"Then we'll be off." Hagrid then led Harry Potter and Light towards the nearest bus stop.
Mrs. Cott also watched as Light and the others walked away.
Hagrid took Harry Potter and Light. They took the bus across the River Thames and then the subway across half of London. After getting off the subway, they turned left and right, winding their way through all kinds of narrow alleys.
Light and Harry Potter were almost dizzy from all the twists and turns. Seeing this, Hagrid, who was leading the way ahead, also slowed down.
He mumbled, "If only we had Floo Powder and Portkeys. Then we wouldn't have to run around like this. We could just arrive directly. Muggle ways of getting around are such a hassle."
"What are Muggles?" Harry Potter asked, sounding a little tired.
"They're people who can't do Spells, like your uncle, aunt, and Mrs. Cott," Hagrid explained.
"So, are we, and others who haven't started school yet and those already studying at Hogwarts, all wizards? What if I go to Hogwarts and find out you've made a mistake?"
Harry Potter asked, looking worried and out of breath.
"Don't worry. They've been running the school, so they definitely won't make a mistake. Even if there is, it's not our problem," Light replied, sounding a bit urgent. This level of exercise wasn't too much for him. He had already built up his strength from working part-time!
This barrage of questions left Hagrid, who wasn't much of a talker to begin with, stunned.
After Light interrupted, Hagrid, who now had time to collect himself, reorganized his words and said,
"We're wizards, not magicians. And Hogwarts is the best wizarding school in the world. It won't make a mistake."
As soon as he finished speaking, Hagrid stepped out of this alley. Once outside, he stopped and pointed at a pub across the street and said, "That's it, our destination."
Light and Harry Potter both looked across the street at the pub.
The sign, covered in dust and grime, read 'The Leaky Cauldron' and hung on an old building.
This pub was sandwiched between a bookstore and a record store, but the people going in and out of these two stores didn't seem to notice the pub. They even unconsciously kept their distance from it.
Hagrid led Light and Harry Potter across the road and pushed open the door to enter the pub.
After seeing the people Hagrid brought in, the originally noisy pub gradually fell silent.
An old woman who looked like a witch shuffled over and asked shakily, "Which one is Harry Potter?"
Harry Potter shrank back nervously.
Hagrid clapped Harry Potter on the shoulder and said, "This is the lad."
Suddenly, someone cheered, and the quiet pub instantly burst into noise again. Now they were shouting Harry Potter's name, as if they'd seen an idol.
The old woman then pulled Harry Potter to her side and said cheerfully, "Harry Potter, we've finally been waiting for you to come back."
Harry Potter was stunned by this scene and stared blankly at Hagrid and Light.
Light just smiled and said nothing, watching with great interest as the scene from the movie played out in front of him, as if witnessing a legend.
Seeing that more and more people were crowding around Harry Potter, Hagrid pushed his way into the crowd and shouted loudly:
"We still got things to do today. Gotta leave first." As he spoke, he led Harry Potter and pushed through the crowd.
Still shaken up, Harry Potter asked nervously, "Light, do you know what's going on? Why are they only staring at me?"
Light replied with a mysterious expression, "It's hard to explain now. You'll figure it out later."
Hagrid led the two of them to the bar. A middle-aged man greeted Hagrid with a smile.
"Welcome to The Leaky Cauldron. I'm the boss. Just call me Tom."
Light and Harry Potter also introduced themselves to the boss politely.
The boss asked Hagrid, "What can I get you?"
Hagrid waved his hand. "Next time! We're still busy." After saying that, he was about to lead Light and Harry Potter towards the back door.
Suddenly, the stone stele started shaking, and Light received a message from it.
"Complete the mileage 'The Gaze of the Dark Lord'." Mileage Points +1.
