Waking up in the One Piece anime world, Fang Yi is rescued by the young Roger Pirates and joins them as a trainee, becoming part of the future Pirate King's crew.

Teaming up with Marine Garp to eliminate the legendary Rocks Pirates, clashing with future Four Emperors like Whitebeard, Big Mom, and Kaido, evading Garp's relentless pursuit, and witnessing Roger's rise to Pirate King and his subsequent demise, Fang Yi bears witness to it all.
