"Sir, we have a lot going on here..."
Coulson directly reported everything that had happened over the past few days to Nick Fury. After finishing, he added, "I'll record all of this and submit a written report later."
Nick Fury, originally busy with other matters, immediately abandoned the idea of simply reading the report later. What Coulson had just told him was significant. He glanced at the busy ice field in the distance. It seemed that things would run smoothly for a while without his direct orders. Deciding to focus on the call, he asked Coulson for more details.
Through Coulson's descriptions, Fury pieced together the role Kai played in the recent events. He also noted Kai's final words to Coulson and compared them with Kai's previous attitude toward S.H.I.E.L.D. It was clear that Kai had more trust in Coulson than in him.
Moreover, Kai hadn't objected to Coulson sharing this information, implying that the situation with Asgard was far from over. Fury suspected there would be more developments.
The two talked for nearly an hour before Fury was satisfied. Any remaining details could be covered in Coulson's written report.
*Tony's Villa*
Kai stepped out of the portal with Tony, then sat down to rest while Tony, still riding the high of excitement, tried to process everything.
Meeting Thor, the mythical god of thunder, and learning about Asgard had been a lot to take in. More importantly, Tony now knew Earth wasn't alone in the universe. Advanced civilizations existed out there—ones beyond the detection of current human technology.
Kai casually began taking out the remains of the Destroyer Armor piece by piece. Tony's eyes widened, and he quickly stopped him.
"Kai, not here. Take it to the underground lab."
The two headed downstairs, and Kai spread the wreckage across the lab floor. Seeing the almost fully assembled form of the Destroyer, Tony realized Kai had retrieved nearly every part.
"Hey, Kai, you don't need to give me all of it," Tony said, stepping forward. "Keep some for yourself. I've got enough to study."
Kai smirked. "Relax, Tony. This is all yours to research. I've got my own stash."
Tony barely had time to process that statement before Kai pulled out the last piece, gave a casual goodbye, and disappeared.
"Alright, that's everything. Have fun with it. I'll check in on you in a few days."
Upon returning home, Kai sought out Gear, who was busy with an experiment.
"Gear, I've got something good for you this time. Let's see if we can use it for our big robot project."
Gear looked up with curiosity as Kai began pulling out a complete, intact Destroyer Armor. The sheer size of it made the taller-than-usual basement ceiling a necessity.
The moment Gear laid eyes on the Destroyer, his expression lit up. He circled it excitedly, examining every detail like a kid in a candy store.
Kai chuckled. "Take your time. It's all yours. Experiment however you want—I won't stop you."
"Understood, boss."
Wasting no time, Gear dragged over a ladder and climbed up, preparing to examine the armor's head.

*Asgard*
After repeated calls, Thor and his companions finally summoned the Bifrost and returned to Asgard. But as they stepped out of the portal, they found Heimdall lying weakly near the Rainbow Bridge's controls.
Thor immediately rushed to check on him. After confirming Heimdall was stable, he instructed the Warriors Three to take him for treatment. Then, without delay, Thor marched toward the palace.
Upon arriving at Odin's chamber, he found his mother, Frigga, standing beside Odin's slumbering form. Loki was there as well.
Seeing his brother—especially after everything he had just learned—Thor's anger boiled over. Without a word, he grabbed Loki and started beating him.
Frigga, who had been relieved to see Thor's return, was stunned. "Thor! What are you doing? Why are you attacking your brother the moment you return?"
Thor didn't stop. "Mother, you don't understand. Everything that happened—Jotunheim's invasion, the Destroyer's attack on Earth—was all Loki's doing!"
Frigga's eyes widened in shock. She turned to Loki. "Is this true?"
Loki, still taking punches, avoided her gaze.
Thor, fueled by righteous fury, continued his assault like an older brother disciplining his mischievous younger sibling. Loki, however, was not taking it well.
Trying to escape Thor's grasp, Loki gritted his teeth. "Why couldn't you just stay on Earth? I planned everything for so long—I was so close!"
Snarling, he grabbed Odin's spear, Gungnir, and struck Thor, knocking him back.
Thor got to his feet, ready to fight. "You realize your actions will throw Asgard into war, don't you?"
Their battle was just beginning.
