After this incident, Thor finally became the next king of Asgard and Odin's successor, but his mood remained gloomy.

Odin was in deep sleep, Loki had disappeared, and the Rainbow Bridge was destroyed. Thor was trapped in Asgard, unable to go anywhere, while missing his brother.

For now, Asgard was at peace.

New York

Tony had been studying the Destroyer Armor for days and had finally made some progress. He managed to melt the Uru metal, reverting all the debris into its original form.

However, he ran into a problem—he had no idea how to test the magical properties of Uru metal as Kai had suggested. With no other option, Tony called Kai and asked him to come over to his villa.

"Alright, Tony, I'll be there soon."

Kai immediately understood why Tony was calling and agreed to help with the experiments.

When he arrived at the basement of the villa, he found Tony staring at a pile of metal, looking frustrated.

"Oh, Kai, finally! Come on, help me out here. This has been driving me crazy!"

Kai raised an eyebrow. "Tony, can you melt all the Destroyer remains into pure metal?"

Tony straightened up. "Of course."

Then, as if remembering something, he hesitated. Despite all his genius, he knew next to nothing about magic. The only reference he had was what he'd seen Kai do before.

Staring at the Uru metal, Tony sighed. He might not understand magic, but he did know someone who did. That was why he called Kai.

However, after listening to Tony's explanation, Kai felt a little lost. He knew how to use magic, but he had never systematically studied its principles or how it interacted with science. He wasn't sure how much help he could be.

After a moment of thought, Kai said, "Tony, don't stress. I'll talk to the Ancient One and bring up Thor's situation while I'm at it. We can also check on Yinsen and have him come back to help you. I can't always be here, and if you suddenly need to experiment, it'd be inconvenient. But if Yinsen returns after completing his training, it'll be easier for you."

Tony considered it and nodded. "That makes sense."

So, the two set off for Kamar-Taj—Kai to speak with the Ancient One, and Tony to find Yinsen.

Kamar-Taj

When Kai entered the room, he met the Ancient One. By now, he was used to meeting her, no longer as nervous as he had been the first time, though he still maintained proper respect.

"Master Ancient One."

After greeting her, Kai sat down at her gesture and explained Thor's situation. The Ancient One listened and nodded in understanding.

Then, Kai moved on to his main reason for coming.

"Master, Yinsen has been studying here for quite some time. How's his progress?"

The Ancient One responded, "Yinsen is a gifted student. He has learned all the basics. What remains now is applying his knowledge in practice."

Kai was pleased. If Yinsen had completed his studies, that meant he could return.

"In that case, can Yinsen go back now?" Kai asked.

The Ancient One gave him a look—her expression unchanged, yet Kai could sense her reluctance.

He thought about it and realized she had a point.

After all, it was he who had asked the Ancient One to train Yinsen in magic. Now that Yinsen had finally completed his studies, suddenly taking him back felt a bit unfair—like he had used Kamar-Taj for free.

Acknowledging this, Kai quickly adjusted his request.

"How about this? Yinsen has learned the knowledge, but he still needs experience. Instead of bringing him back outright, why not assign him to the New York Sanctum? He can be stationed there as a resident sorcerer. That way, he won't be restricted, and he can visit Tony whenever he wants."

The Ancient One considered his words before nodding.

She then summoned Yinsen and instructed him to report to the New York Sanctum. However, she also subtly hinted that he could visit Tony anytime he wanted—no one would stop him. But he was still a part of Kamar-Taj.

Yinsen immediately expressed his gratitude.

"Thank you for allowing me to study magic, Master. Please rest assured, even though I won't be living in Kamar-Taj anymore, I will always be a disciple of Kamar-Taj and will never forget your teachings."

The Ancient One nodded. "Then, you may go pack your things."

Yinsen and Tony were both excited—Yinsen because he had finally completed his training, and Tony because Yinsen could now help him with his experiments.

Back in New York

Upon returning to the New York Sanctum, Yinsen quickly settled his affairs. Soon after, the group returned to Tony's villa.

As Yinsen stepped inside, he felt a wave of nostalgia. He had been away for a long time, and now, he had finally returned—with magic.

Just then, Pepper walked in from work and froze at the sight of him.

"Oh my god, Yinsen, is that you? It's been so long!"

She hurried over, hugging him excitedly.

"You disappeared for so long! If Tony hadn't kept assuring me you were okay, I would've been worried sick!"

Yinsen smiled warmly. "Pepper, I'm sorry to make you worry. But look, I'm fine, and I'm back now."

He spread his arms playfully, showing her he was in one piece.

Tony clapped his hands together. "Alright, since we're all here, let's celebrate Yinsen's return tonight! We need a proper feast!"
