Pokémon: Breeding Simulator [61] [200 PS]

A Remote Island

A red-haired girl and a black-haired boy walked along a densely wooded path.

Calling it a "path" might have been generous—it was more like a barely passable trail, overgrown with wild grass.

Elias lifted his head and glanced around, his eyes filled with curiosity.

Maybe it was because he had lived here for two years. Even though he had no memories of that time, the place still felt strangely familiar.

That feeling grew even stronger when several Pokémon happily greeted him along the way, their enthusiasm making him feel an unexpected sense of warmth.

"Elias, Mommy's tired. Carry me!"

Just then, a pale, delicate hand suddenly clung to Elias's shoulder.

Latias swung herself onto him, her tone filled with playful affection.

Elias let out a sigh of mild exasperation.

As a Pokémon capable of flight, Latias had no reason to be tired from walking. If she wanted to, she could easily zip around the entire island without breaking a sweat.

But Elias wasn't tactless enough to point that out.

Instead, he simply crouched down and reached out to grasp her slender but slightly plump calves.

"H-Hey! What are you doing?"

Feeling his hands on her legs, Latias tensed up, her voice tinged with nervousness.

In her understanding… wasn't giving someone a piggyback ride supposed to work differently?

"I'm taking off your shoes," Elias replied matter-of-factly.

Since returning to the island, Latias had been bursting with energy, running and hopping around nonstop. Her shoes were covered in dirt.

If she climbed onto his back like that, his pants would be done for.

"Oh… I see…"

Latias blinked dazedly, seeming to accept his explanation.

However, just as Elias's fingers brushed against the laces of her shoes, a sudden, powerful gust of wind swept in from behind, making their clothes billow wildly.

"Whoa~! Such strong wind."

Latias pressed her hands against her hat to keep it from flying off, squinting as the wind whipped at her face.

Elias, however, narrowed his eyes. Using his psychic powers, he had briefly detected a presence hidden within the storm.

It had vanished almost instantly, but the realization sparked a suspicion in his mind.

To test his theory, he once again reached for Latias' small foot, simultaneously extending his psychic senses to monitor their surroundings.

As expected, the moment he touched her shoelaces, an unmistakable wave of frustration rippled through the air from high above.

Then, in an instant, a figure plummeted from the sky, cutting through the wind like a blade.

But this time, Elias was prepared.

Before the intruder could pick up speed, he wove a flexible yet sturdy net of psychic energy, catching the descending figure midair and wrapping them up tightly.

A fierce struggle broke out within the net.

Elias smirked and, before Latias could sense anything amiss, casually flung the net in the opposite direction—launching the captive far into the distance.

"Elias, what's wrong?"

Noticing the slight flicker of psychic energy, Latias tilted her head curiously.

"Nothing," Elias reassured her with a smile.

Then, with practiced ease, he slipped off her shoes, turned around, and let her climb onto his back.

"Lati~"

Latias wiggled her feet happily, letting out a cheerful hum.

Then, she leaned close to Elias's ear and whispered mischievously:

"Elias, do you think my brother would think I'm an irresponsible mom if he saw me like this?"

"Don't worry, he won't." Because all his anger will be directed at me instead.

Elias's smirk deepened as he recalled the sheer frustration radiating from that shadow moments before it was flung away.

[After some playful banter and continued trekking, you and Latias arrive at the heart of the island.]

[The scenery here is noticeably different—vastly more open, with trees and grass arranged in an almost deliberate manner, resembling a human-made park rather than untouched wilderness.]

[Upon reaching the center, Latias shifts back into her true form and lets out a soft, melodious cry.]

[The sound echoes through the open space, ethereal and otherworldly, like a celestial song drifting through the wind.]

[You can't help but feel a sense of contentment.]

"That was beautiful," Elias remarked at just the right moment.

In truth, Latias still harbored a small worry—that he wouldn't fully accept her true form.

So making sure to praise this silly mom often was absolutely necessary.

As her voice faded into the air, an unusual distortion rippled through the space ahead.

Moments later, a Pokémon almost identical in appearance to Latias—only larger and covered in blue and white instead of red—materialized before them.

"Lati~"

Latios waved stiffly at his younger sister, his eyes betraying a flicker of joy.

But then, as he turned his gaze toward Elias, his expression darkened considerably.

His greeting was nothing more than a terse nod—one that looked suspiciously like he was gritting his teeth.

Elias wasn't surprised at all.

Instead, he maintained a calm smile and greeted him cheerfully:

"Uncle, it's good to see you!"

Latios visibly twitched. His expression twisted even further.

Yet, despite the tension crackling between the two, Latias remained blissfully unaware.

She eagerly transformed back into her true form, flitting around her brother in a joyful loop before returning to Elias's side.

"Brother, look!"

"Elias's big enough to carry me now! Impressive, right?"

"I raised him myself~"

Latias puffed out her chest proudly, her voice filled with unmistakable glee.

To her, Elias's current strength was proof that she had made the right decision all those years ago.

After all, no mother would ever pass up the chance to show off their child's accomplishments.

Watching his sister hover beside Elias, Latios felt his initial frustration melt into helpless resignation.

Finally, with a quiet sigh, he nodded in reluctant acknowledgment.

"Yeah… he really is impressive."

Even he had to admit—Elias had located and subdued him in mere seconds, without even alerting Latias. That alone was enough to prove his skill.

Not to mention, this boy had once risked his life to rescue his sister from poachers.

No matter how much Latios wanted to be angry…

But…

As he watched Elias standing there, his sister playfully nuzzling against him, an unsettling question crept into his mind.

Is that really her son?
