The Foreign Girl

One day,

Ji Aier received a call from the reception desk, saying that there was a foreign girl looking for her in the lobby.

A foreign girl?

Although Ji Aier couldn't think of any foreign girl she knew, she still went downstairs.

Looking at the pretty girl with golden hair and blue eyes in front of her, who was about eighteen or nineteen years old, Ji Aier was certain that she didn't know her.

"Hello. Are you the one who's been looking for me?" Ji Aier asked.

"Are you Ji Aier?" Julia asked happily as she looked at Ji Aier.

"Yes, I am. Who are you?" Ji Aier didn't understand why this girl was so happy to see her.

"I'm Julia, from Italy. I sneaked here to see what the girl Raymond likes looks like," Julia revealed her purpose. She hadn't expected that the girl Raymond liked was such a delicate-looking woman.

"Raymond!" A handsome face with beautiful emerald eyes flashed through Ji Aier's mind. He was the one who had always given her the greatest support and trust no matter what. "How is he?"

"I'm not sure if he's okay or not. It just seems that he's not very happy," Julia said after thinking for a moment. "I came to see you secretly without telling him."

"Why?" Ji Aier didn't quite understand why she had to come secretly.

"Can we go to a place where we can eat and sit down to talk in detail? I'm kind of hungry," Julia said. She hadn't had lunch when she sneaked out at noon, and it hadn't been easy to find Ji Aier in this unfamiliar place. If she hadn't begged Enrico to tell her the address, she probably wouldn't have been able to find her even after searching for a few more days.

"Sure! Wait a moment. I'll go upstairs to get my bag and be right back," Ji Aier said to her.

Soon Ji Aier came down with her bag, and they went to an Italian restaurant.

After Julia had some macaroni and salad,

"I'm Raymond's fiancée," Julia said, looking up. "I know that there's always been someone in Raymond's heart, and that person is you. It's just that you've been in a coma. Since he found out you woke up recently, he's been acting differently. I know he wants to see you, but he can't. Can you understand how he feels?"

Ji Aier nodded because she knew how kind Raymond had been to her. She knew that he hadn't come to see her after she woke up because he didn't want to cause her any trouble.

Facing this young but persistent girl, who was Raymond's fiancée yet showed no hostility towards Ji Aier and instead talked about Raymond with such naturalness and tolerance, Ji Aier knew that this girl was the one who could accompany Raymond for the rest of his life.

"So when he came to China on a business trip this time, I tagged along. I wanted to see what kind of person you are. And now I've finally seen you," Julia said. It turned out that Raymond liked the type of girl who made people want to care for and protect her at first sight.

"There's not much I can do for him. You can do more for him. He's a really good man. I'm sure you'll be very happy together," Ji Aier said sincerely to Julia.

"He's very good to me, but not in the way of love," Julia said with a hint of sadness. She loved Raymond deeply. Even though he was more than ten years older than her, his care for her was more like meticulous attention rather than love.

"Time can heal everything," Ji Aier could only say this. She could only leave their helpless feelings to time to sort out.

Just then, Julia's phone rang. Julia picked it up, looked at it, but didn't answer. Instead, she looked up and asked Ji Aier,

"Excuse me, could you tell me the exact address here?"

Ji Aier told her, even though she didn't know what Julia was going to do.

"Sorry, I need to answer this call," Julia said. She answered the phone and told the person on the other end where she was and asked them to come and pick her up. Her tone was so gentle when she said that, which made Ji Aier think that it was the kind of tone one would use with a loved one.

Julia hung up the phone and continued chatting with Ji Aier.

Ji Aier knew about this girl's prominent background. She was the only daughter of a big shot in the Italian business world, and her father was Raymond's biggest business partner. Ever since she met Raymond for the first time, she had been attached to him.
