“Seriously, Roselyn is taking more than she can chew. I can't believe that she still went ahead to hire a lawyer that would defend her in the case instead of accepting my offer. Which will make me withdraw the case?” 


“Does she really think she can stand up against me? Is she aware of my influence and the kind of connections I've made in this city? Fooling herself by thinking she can win this case when I'm the one she's unto?” I mused, smirking in the process. 


Coming to that, I inquired from my secretary, Josh, who was helping me put on my tie in the office as we got ready to leave for the court trial. It was 3pm already, and we needed to be there before the arrival of the judge in court. 


“Were you able to find out who the Goddamned Lawyer that will be defending Roselyn in the case is?” 


“Yes, Boss, a law student who is doing his internship in the keystone law office” He answered.
