Chapter 30: A Villainess Declares War (Again)

Chapter 30: A Villainess Declares War (Again)

Seraphina stormed into the dining hall, ready to file an official complaint against life itself.

Her two personal menaces followed behind her, looking way too pleased with themselves.

The staff greeted them cheerfully.

"Good morning, Lady Seraphina! Lady Lila! Lord Damian!"

Seraphina ignored them all and flopped into her chair, arms crossed.

Lila sat beside her gracefully, while Damian lounged in his seat like he owned the place.

The butler poured tea.

The maids set out breakfast.

Seraphina stabbed her fork into her pancake aggressively.

Damian smirked. "You seem upset."

Seraphina glared at him. "Wow. What a brilliant observation. Ten points to Captain Obvious."

Lila sipped her tea, looking amused. "What's wrong, dear?"

Seraphina slammed her fork down.

"WHAT'S WRONG? WHAT'S WRONG?!"

She pointed at them dramatically.

"You INVOLUNTARILY ADOPTED ME into your PERSONAL CUDDLE CULT LAST NIGHT."

Damian laughed. "It wasn't that bad."

Lila smirked. "You didn't even try to escape after the first hour."

Seraphina's eye twitched.

"…That's because you two were like leeches."

Lila giggled. "Oh, darling. You're exaggerating."

Seraphina gritted her teeth.

"That's IT. I am declaring war."

Damian raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"

Seraphina slammed her hands on the table.

"I, Seraphina Edelweiss, officially declare a No-Touching Policy."

Lila blinked. "A what?"

"No touching. No holding hands. No carrying me. No cuddling."

Damian grinned. "No fun."

Seraphina ignored him.

"From now on, there will be a three-feet distance rule. If you break it, I'll—"

Lila tilted her head. "You'll what?"

Seraphina hesitated.

"…I'LL SCREAM."

Damian leaned in slightly. "That's not a very scary threat."

Seraphina immediately inhaled deeply—

Damian panicked. "WAIT, WAIT, WAIT—"

Seraphina let out a high-pitched screech.

The entire mansion shook.

Somewhere in the kitchen, a plate shattered.

The butler quietly left the room.

Lila covered her ears, wincing. "Seraphina, please—"

Seraphina stopped and smiled innocently.

"Then do we have a deal?"

Lila sighed. "Fine."

Damian scowled. "Unfair."

Seraphina grinned victoriously.

Finally. Peace.

Or so she thought.

Later That Night…

Seraphina was curled up in bed, enjoying her glorious, undisturbed solitude.

She had officially won.

No one would invade her space again.

Just as she was about to drift off—

A loud CRASH echoed from outside.

Seraphina bolted upright.

"…What was that?"

Another crash.

A low growl.

Seraphina's blood ran cold.

Something was outside her window.

Slowly, cautiously, she turned her head.

Red eyes glowed in the darkness.
