Having reached unprecedented levels of nuclear technology, humanity utilized this power in their daily lives. With this advancement,280 years ago they embarked on a mission to colonize a planet named Bruno, located within the habitable zone of their star.
However, two hundred years ago, a devastating nuclear catastrophe wiped out all life on Earth, rendering it uninhabitable, leaving Bruno as humanity's sole refuge. Thankfully, the colony on Bruno had already become self-sufficient.
Yet, the delicate ecosystem of Bruno could not withstand the radioactive nuclear energy that powered human society, which triggered unforeseen consequences. The planet's native life evolved into dangerous mutants, pushing humanity into a precarious position once more.
Resilient as ever, humans constructed massive, fortified cities as strongholds, determined to reclaim Bruno and make it their new and lasting home.
the set up is unique and pacing feels nice (at least to me) the conversations between characters feels natural but could use some work and the conflicts are really good. over all it's a nice read to pass your time but the author needs to release chapters more often
