Ryder's POV
The birds were chirping too loud. And why was my room so bright? That's when I realized I wasn't in 'my' room.
I stretched, my body aching all over. Apart from the gym session yesterday, the intense workout with Scarlett tested my stamina. And I'm pretty positive Scarlett would like to think of me as a horse. I kept her up all night with my strokes~
Before I could greet the woman by my side on a beautiful, tiresome morning, I realized the woman was missing.
"Scarlett?" I voiced. Standing up, I tied the blanket around my waist and looked for her in the bathroom. She wasn't there. Could she have gone to get herself some breakfast?
To enquire, I searched for my pants which had my phone. I was about to click on her contact to dial her. But the personal messages were sent to me and Dylan, asking us to catch the next transport to take us to the destination.
The ski resort, huh?
Instead of calling Scarlett's number, I dialed Dylan's.
