"I'm sorry, Davis won't have liked the idea..." I hushed him.
"The only idea that has not welcomed and tormented me for a long time was Davis and you fighting over Nat."
"That was a few months ago." Davis chipped in while I gave him a hard glare, "I didn't fight over her, okay? You gave me no time to even do that."
"Shut your mouth! I saw you with her everywhere."
"What about you and Gerald?" He asked eyeing Gerald who just joined us, all our eyes went to his face.
"I don't have anything with Gerald."
"You know that's not true," I replied while Davis shook his head.
"Oh really?" He replied, "And I suppose the late-night phone calls, the secret meetings, all of that was just my imagination?"
