Chapter 25 The Connection with the Nine-Tails

The Connection with the Nine-Tails

After spending time with the baby Nine-Tails, Naruto and Kurama slowly began to form a bond with the creature. However, no matter how hard they tried, the little Nine-Tails' loyalty to Kaguya was undeniable. It was clear that while it might grow stronger with them over time, its heart belonged to Kaguya above all else.

As Naruto petted the small Nine-Tails, it yipped softly, nuzzling his hand affectionately. Despite the growing bond, there was a sense of distance in its eyes, a deep connection to Kaguya that nothing could break. Kurama spoke up, his tone thoughtful.

"Kid, it's clear. This Nine-Tails might bond with us, but it will always care for Kaguya more than anyone else. She's its master, after all."

Naruto sighed but nodded. "I know, Kurama. It's still a great honor to train it. We'll do our best."

Kaguya appeared in the distance, her presence commanding the area. She walked towards them, and the Nine-Tails immediately ran to her, nuzzling her feet like a loyal companion. Kaguya bent down and gently patted the creature, her eyes softening.

"You've been kind to it," Kaguya spoke calmly, her gaze meeting Naruto's. "But it was always meant to stay with me. It can form a connection with you, but it will never leave me. I allow it to leave only to form a bond with you, Naruto. It will be our link."

Naruto nodded. "I understand. But I still want to help it grow strong."

Kaguya's eyes narrowed slightly before she raised a hand, gesturing for the Nine-Tails to return to her side. "You may continue training it, but never forget—no matter how strong it becomes, it will always be mine."

With that, Kaguya offered Naruto a trade. "You may take it, for now, to train, but you will need to trade chakra with me. It's a fair exchange, considering the bond you are creating with it."

Naruto didn't hesitate. "Deal."

He poured some of his chakra into Kaguya's hand, feeling the immense energy course through him. As their chakras connected, Naruto could feel the weight of the Nine-Tails' power, and in return, the baby Nine-Tails seemed to accept him as its temporary trainer.

The creature glanced at him one last time before turning its gaze back to Kaguya, ever loyal to her. Kaguya nodded and gestured for the Nine-Tails to stay by her side, but with a knowing glance, she allowed it to roam and grow in power, even under Naruto's care.

Sasuke's and Sakura's Summons

As Team 7 explored more of Kaguya's world, Sasuke and Sakura both found themselves drawn to different creatures. Sasuke wandered off to a different part of the island and encountered a cheetah, its sleek, golden fur shimmering in the light. The creature was fast, its movements swift and graceful, a true representation of speed. Sasuke felt an immediate connection to it, his Sharingan honing in on the beast's rapid movements.

Kurama's voice echoed in his mind. "That's a cheetah. Seems fitting for you, Sasuke. Fast, agile, and full of power."

Sasuke nodded, realizing it was the perfect fit for him. "I'll train it."

Nearby, Sakura discovered a pink-haired lion resting peacefully by a pond. The creature's fur shimmered like soft pink petals in the sunlight, and its eyes were fierce, filled with an inner strength that reminded her of herself. The lion stretched and let out a powerful roar that resonated with Sakura's own chakra.

Kurama chuckled. "A lion, huh? You're both strong-willed, and it suits you. It'll be a challenge, but you've got the heart for it."

Sakura smiled, feeling the lion's energy resonate with hers. "I'll train it too."

The Exchange of Chakra

Each of them, in turn, made their trade with Kaguya, giving some of their chakra in exchange for their new summons. The power they felt flowing between them and Kaguya was incredible. As they each made their trade, Kaguya's expression softened slightly, though her gaze was still distant.

"You are wise to choose these creatures," Kaguya remarked. "But remember, the bond you create will take time. You must nurture them and build trust."

Naruto smiled as he looked at the baby Nine-Tails, his heart full of determination. "I'll make sure they all grow strong."

Back to Training

Kurama's voice echoed in Naruto's mind again, full of excitement. "This is the beginning, kid. You've got a whole team of summons now, and each one of them can become incredibly strong. It's like having an army of power at your disposal."

Naruto grinned, his eyes gleaming with hope. "We'll train them all. Together, we'll face the Otsutsuki."

The Nine-Tails, the cheetah, and the pink-haired lion all stood together with Team 7. They were no longer just individuals—they were forming a bond with their summons, just as Kurama and Naruto had done long ago.

Kaguya watched from afar, her eyes narrowing slightly as she observed the new connections being formed. Though she had let them take her summons, she was still cautious. Their bond would be tested, and she knew that the true challenge lay ahead, but for now, she allowed them to enjoy the quiet peace of the moment.
