Kakashi's New Summon
As Team 7 continued to explore Kaguya's world, they came across a small clearing surrounded by towering trees. The air was thick with the scent of the earth and the faint rustle of creatures moving in the distance. Suddenly, a soft whimpering sound reached their ears.
Kakashi, who had been quiet up until now, raised an eyebrow. "Did anyone else hear that?"
Sasuke, who had been silently observing his cheetah, gave a small shrug. "I didn't hear anything."
Sakura looked around, her hand resting on the pink-haired lion's mane. "Maybe it's just the wind," she suggested, though her eyes were scanning the area cautiously.
Naruto, always the curious one, took a few steps forward, his eyes scanning the foliage. "What if it's a summon, like the others?"
As if on cue, a small gray wolf emerged from the bushes. It was small, scruffy, and seemed to be more lost than anything else. It sniffed the air, then spotted Kakashi, who had crouched down to get a closer look. The wolf hesitated for a moment, then bounded up to him and gave a playful nip at his sleeve.
"Well, that's new," Kakashi said, looking down at the wolf in surprise. "Where did you come from?"
The wolf's fluffy tail wagged as it looked up at Kakashi, its big, innocent eyes shining.
Naruto grinned, walking over to Kakashi and patting him on the back. "Looks like you got yourself a summon, Kakashi!"
Kakashi chuckled, scratching the back of his head. "I guess so, but... it's a little different than I expected."
Kurama's voice sounded in Naruto's head, amused. "It's a cute little thing. Probably doesn't have much power, but it could be useful if trained right. That's the thing about Kaguya's summons—they start small, but they can grow."
Kakashi was trying to bond with the wolf, who seemed perfectly content curling up next to him, but then he sighed, glancing at Naruto with a sheepish expression. "Naruto... I don't have enough chakra to form a proper connection with it."
Naruto looked at Kakashi with a blank expression, then broke into a wide grin. "You didn't bring any chakra to trade? Guess it's a good thing I'm here!" He cracked his knuckles. "I'll help you out, old man."
Kakashi rubbed the back of his head awkwardly. "Well... I wasn't expecting to get a summon. I thought I'd just be watching you all train your beasts."
Naruto raised an eyebrow, laughing. "Classic Kakashi—always showing up late to the party. Alright, alright, I'll lend you some chakra, but you owe me one, old man."
Kakashi raised his hands defensively. "Fair enough, but remember, Naruto—I was the one who taught you everything you know about chakra control!"
Sasuke's voice cut through the banter, his usual deadpan tone breaking the moment. "Stop bickering. It's just a wolf."
Sakura smirked, clearly enjoying the back-and-forth. "A cute wolf, I might add."
With a dramatic sigh, Naruto reached forward and placed a hand on Kakashi's shoulder. "Alright, just don't blame me if you can't control it after I give you some of my chakra."
Kakashi, too proud to admit his lack of chakra reserves, smiled gratefully as Naruto channeled chakra into him. As the energy passed from Naruto to Kakashi, the wolf perked up and howled excitedly.
Kakashi looked down at the now much more energetic wolf, which was wagging its tail vigorously. He chuckled. "Well, I guess it worked."
Naruto gave Kakashi a teasing grin. "Hey, at least you're not as bad as Sasuke when he first got his cheetah. Remember how it tried to bite him?"
Sasuke shot Naruto a glare, but the corners of his lips twitched. "That was one time."
Kakashi laughed, though his gaze softened as he looked at the little wolf. "Thank you, Naruto. I'll train it. I guess I'll have to call it something."
Naruto, always the one to suggest nicknames, grinned mischievously. "How about 'Puppy'?"
Sasuke raised an eyebrow. "Really, Naruto?"
Sakura added her two cents with a smile. "I think it's cute. Puppy's a fitting name for a wolf that's this small."
Kakashi thought about it for a moment, then shook his head, smiling under his mask. "I think I'll name it... 'Shiro'."
Naruto chuckled. "That's not bad. Shiro, huh?"
Time to Leave
With the new summons acquired and the team now ready to leave, Black Zetsu stepped forward, his eyes gleaming with something almost like pride. "You've seen much of Kaguya's world, and now it's time for you to return to yours."
Kakashi, holding the small wolf in his arms, gave a nod. "We'll be going back, then?"
Black Zetsu looked at him, still loyal as ever to Kaguya. "Yes, but before you go, remember what you've learned here. The Otsutsuki are still a threat, and you'll need every advantage you can get."
Naruto, with a final glance at Kaguya's world, nodded. "We're ready. We'll return to the village, but we'll be preparing. There's no telling when the Otsutsuki will strike again."
Kaguya's voice echoed from a distance, calm but powerful. "Your training will be the key. Remember, you are not alone in this fight."
With that, Team 7, along with their new summons—Shiro the wolf, the cheetah, the pink-haired lion, and the Nine-Tails—stepped through the portal, leaving Kaguya's world behind but carrying the weight of their newfound power.
