Meeting the Kage: Explaining Everything
After stepping through the portal back to the Hidden Leaf, Team 7 found themselves standing before the five Kage—Mei Terumī of the Mist, Tsunade Senju of the Leaf, Gaara of the Sand, Onoki of the Stone, and Tsuchikage, who were all seated in the Kage's office. Their faces were serious as Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi took their positions in front of them.
Naruto looked at the Kage with a determined expression. "Alright, everyone, it's time to explain what's been going on."
Tsunade leaned forward, her gaze piercing. "Go on, Naruto. We've been waiting for you to come back with information."
Naruto sighed and started explaining the situation. "We found out that the Otsutsuki are more dangerous than we thought. Not just that—they've been manipulating the world behind the scenes. And we also discovered something about Kaguya that we hadn't known before."
Sasuke stepped in, his tone serious. "Kaguya's been the one controlling the Zetsu. She's not the same as before. She's powerful, and she's creating new Zetsu, stronger than the original ones."
Sakura added, "And she's preparing for something big. The Otsutsuki aren't going to stop, and Kaguya's world might be the key to understanding how to fight them."
Gaara frowned. "So Kaguya's on our side now?"
Naruto nodded, though it was clear it wasn't a simple answer. "Sort of. She's still a wild card, but we made a deal with her. We learned that she's been trying to slow down the Otsutsuki while also giving us information. But she doesn't trust anyone—except for her summons. She's letting us train them and even trade chakra for them."
Kakashi spoke up now, scratching his head. "I got myself a gray wolf... and let's just say I had to trade a bit of chakra to get it to bond with me."
The Kage exchanged glances, clearly skeptical. Onoki, the most vocal, raised an eyebrow. "Wait, wait. You traded chakra to get a summoning beast that will always be loyal to Kaguya? Do you really think it's a good idea to accept beasts like that?"
Naruto grinned, rubbing the back of his head. "I know it sounds crazy, but this isn't just any normal summon. These creatures are tied to Kaguya, and they're really strong. Plus, the Nine-Tails we saw—"
Mei cut him off, her eyes wide. "The Nine-Tails? You're telling me Kaguya has her own version of the Nine-Tails?"
"Yep," Naruto said with an amused smile. "It's a baby, but it's powerful. And it's hers. I traded chakra with Kaguya to bring it back here and let Kurama bond with it. It's like a little sibling for Kurama—both Nine-Tails!"
The Kage exchanged another set of looks. Mei, who had always been more curious and open to unconventional methods, seemed intrigued. "So Kaguya allowed you to take her summon. But you're sure it's not dangerous? That Nine-Tails will always be connected to her, won't it?"
Naruto gave a firm nod. "Exactly. No matter how much we bond with it, it will always be connected to Kaguya. She gave us the freedom to train it, though, and that's what we're going to do. It could be helpful in the future."
Onoki, still skeptical, folded his arms. "I don't know about this. It sounds like you're trusting Kaguya too much. She's a wildcard. We can't be sure she won't turn on us when it's convenient."
Sakura responded, her voice calm but firm. "We don't fully trust her either. But we've seen the danger the Otsutsuki pose. Kaguya's our only lead right now."
Tsunade, who had been silently observing, spoke up. "And what about these Zetsu? How do we know they won't turn on us too?"
Sasuke's eyes narrowed, a look of determination in his gaze. "The Zetsu we've seen are loyal to Kaguya, but they're not like the old ones. They're stronger and more independent. Kaguya's trying to build them up for something—maybe to stop the Otsutsuki in the future."
Naruto nodded. "We've also been learning from them. They're not just soldiers—they're evolving."
The Kage leaned back in their chairs, taking it all in. Gaara, as the youngest of the Kage, asked the most practical question. "So, what's the plan? Do we just prepare and hope the Otsutsuki don't come for us?"
Naruto's smile faded slightly as he thought about the future. "No. We train. We use what we've learned from Kaguya's world. The Otsutsuki might be far away now, but we need to be ready. Kaguya's world is filled with powerful creatures, and we need every advantage we can get."
Onoki, still skeptical but understanding the severity of the situation, sighed. "Alright, I'm not saying I agree with everything you're doing, but I trust you, Naruto. If we're going to fight the Otsutsuki, we need every bit of power we can get."
Mei nodded thoughtfully. "We need to build alliances too. This will affect the entire world."
Naruto's eyes shone with conviction. "We'll do whatever it takes. Together, we'll face the Otsutsuki. No matter what happens, we'll protect our world."
Sasuke and Sakura both nodded in agreement. Kakashi, still holding Shiro, added, "We've seen Kaguya's world. We can't afford to ignore it."
