Chapter 28

After a lengthy conversation with the Kage, the weight of the situation began to sink in. The Otsutsuki were more dangerous than anyone had originally thought, and the fate of the world rested on their ability to prepare for an imminent invasion. The air in the Kage's office was thick with tension as the conversation concluded.

Tsunade was the first to speak after a long silence. "Alright, we have a lot to discuss. The Otsutsuki are unlike any threat we've faced before. If what you say is true, Naruto, we need a strategy."

Gaara spoke up, his usual calm demeanor masking the concern in his eyes. "What's our next move? Do we continue to prepare, or do we send out a message to the other villages?"

Before Naruto could answer, the doors to the Kage's office swung open, and A, the Raikage of the Cloud Village, stepped inside, followed closely by Killer Bee, his younger brother and the host of the Eight-Tails. Both of them looked serious, their arrival signaling something important.

A's voice was commanding as always. "We've been hearing strange reports about the Otsutsuki. When I heard that Naruto and his team had returned, I knew something big was going down." His eyes scanned the room, landing on Naruto. "So, it's true then? The Otsutsuki are real, and we've all been living in the dark?"

Naruto nodded, giving a grim smile. "Yeah, we've been fighting them without even knowing it. The Otsutsuki have been pulling strings for ages. Now, we need to prepare for their next move—and they're coming, sooner or later."

Killer Bee, ever the laid-back figure, cracked his usual grin but couldn't hide the unease in his eyes. "Yo, Naruto! So you've been off training and meeting up with Kaguya and her Zetsu army? You sure know how to pick your friends!" He laughed, but the tension in his voice made it clear he was concerned.

Sasuke, his eyes narrowed, spoke up. "It's not just about Kaguya. She's one of the only people who has information about the Otsutsuki. We're not trusting her fully, but we have no choice right now."

A raised an eyebrow. "You've traded chakra with Kaguya for her summons... and you're trusting her?" He looked around the room, gauging the reaction of the other Kage.

Tsunade spoke up, clearly not happy about the situation. "We've all heard the stories about Kaguya's betrayal in the past. But right now, we don't have much choice. She's the only one who knows what the Otsutsuki want and how we can stop them."

"Exactly," Naruto added. "We're not trusting her blindly. But with the information she's given us, we're getting stronger. We need that strength to stop the Otsutsuki when they come."

A looked at Naruto and then at the other Kage. He knew the gravity of the situation. The Raikage then turned to Killer Bee. "Bee, we'll need your help. The Otsutsuki are powerful, and we're going to need every Jinchuriki we have."

Killer Bee's smile faltered, but his voice remained calm. "No problem, Raikage. I'm always down to help out my bros."

Gaara spoke next. "The more information we have, the better. But we also need to work together. If we're to face the Otsutsuki, we can't afford to be divided."

Onoki nodded slowly. "Agreed. We've faced great threats before, but none like this."

Naruto stood tall, a new resolve in his eyes. "Exactly. We need to be ready. And we can't let the Otsutsuki destroy everything we've built. But we can't do it alone. Everyone needs to be prepared."

With the Kage, A, and Killer Bee all present, the conversation shifted to strategy. They would need to gather their forces, prepare the villages, and begin planning defenses against the Otsutsuki's inevitable invasion. Everyone agreed that a united front was their best hope.

Meanwhile, in Kaguya's World...

Back in Kaguya's dimension, Team 7 had been training with the Zetsu, who were all working diligently on various skills. Black Zetsu continued to guide them, showing them around different training areas. One area was dedicated to summoning beasts—young Zetsu learning to channel chakra and form contracts with various creatures, just like the baby Nine-Tails. Another area focused on building and constructing houses, something Naruto and Sakura found strangely fascinating.

Kurama had taken a particular interest in the Nine-Tails, which was still growing and learning. He often spoke to it in a voice that was gentle, almost like a mentor to a younger sibling. Naruto, of course, had also spent time bonding with the small Nine-Tails, and the bond between them was growing stronger. But no matter how much they bonded, the Nine-Tails always held a deeper connection to Kaguya, something Naruto understood.

The Zetsu's potential seemed limitless, as Kaguya had hoped. While many of them were still in their early stages, the energy that flowed from them was unlike anything Team 7 had ever experienced. If trained correctly, they could become formidable forces in the fight against the Otsutsuki.

But for now, it was clear that time was running out. The Otsutsuki were coming, and Kaguya's world, filled with millions of White Zetsu, was both a sanctuary and a military outpost. The countdown to the next phase of their plan had begun.
