Where Am I?

"You wish." Scarlet's voice sounded like metal against a surface. It was chilling and rude.

The more Scarlet took in Ayra's features, the more upset she was, as even though Ayra was in the dirty dungeon, she still radiated, and remained beautiful.

If only Scarlet could do something hideous to Ayra, maybe she wouldn't look so pretty after all.

"Please, water…" Ayra had been begging for water since she entered that dragon kingdom, but instead of them giving her water, they caused her problems and threw her in the dungeon.

All she needed was water, and they would never see her again.

"Water? Right!" Scarlet appeared a little too excited to offer Ayra water.

"Yurus! Get the prisoner some water."

Of course, Yurus knew exactly what Scarlet wanted him to do, so he stepped out of the cell and located one of the many bottles of vinegar which the wardens used to torment the prisoners.

Just as Yurus stepped out, he spotted someone coming their way from afar.

"My Queen, quick, we have company. Let's go. Nobody should find you here close to this dangerous girl." Yurus eyed Ayra as he mentioned that she was dangerous.

For crying out loud, the carrier of the Tale Of Doom was the most dangerous person on the planet.

Scarlet's eyes popped open as she heard that they had company.

Scarlet did not want anyone to see her visiting Ayra, so that if something bad happened, nobody would trace anything back to her.

In a jiffy, Yurus led Scarlet out of the cell, and they escaped through the back exit.

While they were in a hurry, Ayra was amused to see that Yurus had left the cell gate unlocked.

The cell gate was left ajar with the key inside the keyhole. At that moment, Ayra was going to thank the moon goddess, but she remembered that even though she might have to escape, the moon goddess might be setting her up for even more chaos, so Ayra held back from thanking her.

Quickly, Ayra got up and walked straight to the door. She had not eaten for nearly two days and was weak, but at that moment, Ayra did not know where she found the strength to be as agile as she was.

Taking a peep out of her cell, Ayra saw that the coast was as clear as day.

The person that had intruded and made Yurus and Scarlet run away, had absolutely nothing to do with Ayra, so it had to be the moon goddess' way of saving Ayra from trouble in Scarlet's hands.

Before long, Ayra had walked out of her cell, and outside the dungeon, hiding in the shadows until she escaped from the dragon kingdom unseen.

"Bring the prisoner to me. I need to talk to her. I need to know who she is." King Devon instructed his guard.

The king's guard nodded.

"I'll bring her over right away. Excuse my king." The King's guard bowed and headed for the dungeon.

As soon as Ayra left the dragon kingdom, she shifted to her wolf and ran as fast as she could, away from the kingdom that had almost made her a prisoner.

Ayra wondered what would have happened to her if she hadn't escaped. Would she have been killed? She didn't think so, especially the fact that she didn't hurt anyone, but something about Scarlet and Yurus gave her chills and caused her skin to crawl.

Anyway, she was just glad to be out.

Ayra ran until she started to feel dizzy. For what it was worth, why couldn't she just get a drink of water? Was it part of the plan of the moon goddess to torture her?

"Just go ahead and smite me to death, moon goddess." Ayra had tears in her eyes as her frustration grew to the brim.

Before long, she could not carry herself anymore and was just lucky to make it to a shaded place where she gave in to the fatigue that had worn her out.

Ayra fainted out of dehydration and hunger.

Was it getting worse for Ayra, or was the moon goddess going to give her a break eventually?

Well, after several hours of being unconscious, Ayra woke up, but this time, she was no longer at the spot where she had fainted.

Ayra felt herself swaying from side to side. She didn't understand what was happening, so she tried to sit up but soon enough, she realized that she had been bound at her wrist and ankles.

''What?'' Ayra muttered. She wished she could scream, but she knew that she was alone with whoever or whatever might have captured her, and her screaming would only upset them, so she held herself back.

Ayra was lying on a hard surface with her back against the earth, and her eyes towards the sky. She peered into the cloud, looking to see if she could spot the moon goddess, and asked her what the crime she had committed was.

Ayra noticed that the people carrying her did not say a word. They were so quiet as if they were carrying her to some sort of sacred place that required them not to utter a word.

Soon, the aura of the environment dropped to a chilly one that made Ayra's skin crawl, and the physical environment around her became so chilly and dark. Yet, Ayra could see that there was some form of life going on in the place.

It was yet another settlement, with a different species and kingdom.

Ayra could not believe it. She finally got to take a closer look at the humans in this settlement, only for her to see that they were different looking from the werewolf humans, and the dragon humans.

Who were these?

Ayra's heart was beating. Remembering how the dragons had arrested her and threw her in the dungeon, she wondered what these people would do to her.

''Moon goddess, please, I'm begging you.'' Ayra started to shed tears instantly.
