Chapter 2

Ivys POV

Three days have passed since I found out that I'll be marrying Gab. The house has become more even quiet, and Ate never came back at home.

I was going downstairs when I saw Dad, who seemed to be going up.

"Child, can I talk to you?"he said, I nodded.

He walked ahead towards the living room, and I followed him.

We found Mom sitting and drinking coffee.

"What are we going to talk about?"I asked when I sat down.

"We're having a dinner with Salvador, that's where you'll meet your fiance and there your wedding will be announced. You should get married as soon as possible it's the sake of company Ivy, so behave and absolutely do not cause any trouble," Mom said firmly.

I really don't know if I should be happy or what. I don't know what to do, for sure Ate will go to that dinner too. I just looked down, when Mom and Dad stood up.

"Get ready and choose a dress that you'll wear, dear," Dad said before they left me alone here in the living room.

I glanced at the clock, it's almost six in the evening. I don't know what time the dinner is, so I immediately go upstairs and take a shower.

I just came out at the bathroom after taking a shower. Choosing what to wear, three dresses in front of me are laid on my bed.

One is Black Solid cut-out halter side-split backless dress.

Two is White High-end banquet one shoulder with lace and last one is Wine red Moonlight fairy long dress.

"This is too much, it's like all of this was bought for ate."

Yes, I wear these kinds of dresses but it depends. I chose the blacka and tried it on. I was surprised when I saw myself in the mirror.

“I'm so sexy and hot in this dress”

I stared at myself closely. I can see the shape of my body and my fair skin. I looked at the clock, it was almost seven, so I hurried to get ready. I put some makeup, I curl my long silky hair and wear my YSL heels.

I looked at myself again before grabbing the Charles & Keith white leather bow top handle bag that I would use and went downstairs.

I found Mom and Dad at the end of the stairs. I immediately went down and kissed their cheeks.

"Good evening Mom, Dad." I greeted them.

"You're so gorgeous, child," Dad said with a smile, which Mom also agreed with.

"Let's go, they might be waiting." Mom urged.

We immediately went out and got into the car.

We have arrived at the place where the dinner will take place, in a fancy restaurant. We immediately approached the guard and showed a card before we go inside.

"It's so beautiful here."

I scanned my surroundings; the vibes here are nice and relaxing. We walked towards the long table where Gab's parents were seated.

I saw his mom waving, but where's Gab?

When we arrived, she immediately greeted us.

"Good evening, Mr. and Mrs. Montenegro. Have a sit."

" Hello hija, I guess you're Ivy, right? You're so sexy and gorgeous!"she said

"Hi Ma'am, yes, it's me. I'm Ivy Montenegro" I said shyly and also kissed her on the cheek.

"Oh my god! My child will like you, you're so cute and demure. Let's just wait for Gab, he said he has something important to do but he'll be here soon. Sit down first and eat," she said, which made me breathe a sigh of relief.

"So this is how talkative Gab's mom is."

I just shook my head, and as soon as I sat down, I was about to take a bite when Gab's dad spoke.

"They're already here."

When I turned around, it felt like everything slowed down. I saw Ate holding Gab's arm while smiling widely, and Gab was just looking serious.

He approached his mom and dad.

"I'm sorry, I'm late. Traffic" he briefly said after kissed his mom and dad cheeks.

"It's okay son, by the way, why Ivy's sister and you are together?"Gab's mom asked.

"Ahm, hello. I'm Vivory, Gab just saw me waiting for the Grab I booked but it got canceled, so he offered me a ride since he asked me where I was going." Ate said with a smile and sat next to Gab.

He even dragged the chair for Ate!

They are in front of me, looking like they were sweethearts. I just bowed my head and continued eating.

"So, now. Ivy and you son are getting married," suddenly said Gab's dad.

Gab shot me a cold look, while my sister glared at me.

"Maybe this April will be your wedding, a civil wedding. Get to know each other first, Ivy and Gab, you will live together in the same roof. Stay in our house in Cavite for now," Gab's mom said while smiling at me.

I don't know, I can't sit still, my heart is pounding so hard.

"But mom, we don't have to live in the same roof. It is necessary? Besides, it's just an arranged marriage," Gab suddenly said.

It felt like something was stuck in my throat, Gab really doesn't want me because he already has someone, Ate Vivory. Out of nowhere, I suddenly stood up and they were surprised.

"A-ah, excuse me," I said and quickly headed to the restroom.
