[HOLLY’s Point of View]

My head was throbbing so badly.

I was seeing light flashes as I squinted my eyes and the first thing I did was to block my head from my husband's thoughts, worried that he might postpone our plan of going to the throne room, hoping that Evlon was there. I couldn’t let him hesitate if he found out I was in pain.

He was right. Randalf and Irina would never leave our child out of their sight. They know my ability to completely become invisible to my enemies and they wouldn’t risk putting him anywhere far from them inside the palace.

We hide behind one of the columns of the massive room. A crystal chandelier hanging high on the ceiling illuminates the pure white marble floor and the King’s platform.
