Chapter 165

[HOLLY’s Point of View]

There was nothing I could do.

I wish Evander had found the servant who took Evlon and brought our pup back to the barracks. That was the only request I made of him. If Randalf wanted me as his prisoner, they could have me—if it meant my child would be safe.

Blood pooled on the marbled floor. It spread and reached Alpha Nial, who was sobbing and trembling after he witnessed his two mentors being decapitated in front of him. I wish I could go and help him get up but it was too obvious he was already a lost cause.

“Take them to the dungeon! I’ll deal with them later once I find and kill the Blackwood Alpha!” Randalf yelled at his rogue soldiers. I didn’t resist though and just glared at him and Irina. I waited for any insult Irina would throw at me but she remained silent—as if she were thinking something that distracted her from me.

“Stay there!”
