As I sped back to the hospital, my mind was pounding uncontrollably. I had to play this carefully, I need to make sure Lucy doesn't find out. I now  know her secret so I can find out what was happening.


Before I left the woods, I told Jake—Lucy’s secret lover—to keep his head down and stay away from her for now. If he knew what was good for him, he would take my advice and keep away.


My brows furrowed as I pulled into the hospital driveway, the parking lot was almost full bustling with different news station vans.


I stepped out of my car, eyes narrowed at the empty vans, there was also a crowd at the entrance of the hospital.


My jaw clenched at the sight before me when I got closer. Reporters. Cameras. Microphones shoved into my face the moment I approached the entrance.


I tried my best to hold  them back pushing through to the entrance to find out what was causing the commotion.
