Chapter 57

CHRISTIAN'S POV

I followed the bodyguard till he got to the car, set the man in the backseat and drove off.

I rushed to my car, turned in the engine and followed the car. My eyes never lost sight of the car, putting at least three cars between us as j followed from a distance.

I couldn't make out where the bodyguard was going as he kept taking turns that led nowhere.

Finally, he veered off the highway into a dark narrow dirt part into the woods. I couldn't keep following him with my car or he would suspect so I cut off the engine and trailed him on foot.

My wolf was on high alert as he kept on going into the woods, I crept close watching as he parked the car in a clearing.

He stepped out, his eyes scanning the area and I had to duck behind a huge oak tree. After a while, he nodded to himself and finally pulled out the unconscious man from the back seat.
