Beth glared at her sister not liking her guts, she didn't seem at all pleased.
"Holding me back?"Beth eyes narrowed,
Della immediately dropped her hand which the glove was still worn on.
"I'm sorry"Della bowed her head in apology despite being older than the girl.
"You!"Beth yelled at the girl,
"I will ensure you are jobless and ruin your family"Beth threatened,
"I...I'm sorry mi lady"the girl knelt down apologizing knowing well what a lady of higher society could do to a pauper like her.
"What going on here?"
They turned to see an older man,it was mr sailor,he wasn't alone and someone else stood with him.
A younger man but his red eyes spoke differently, they knew he was older.
His red cherry hair was curled and silky, with dark red eyes which only a vampire could have, his face had nice structure with a sharp pointy nose and little plump lips.
One look and you know he is a man of high esteem and intelligence,it was written all over him his features.
Beth seeing such a fine man immediately forgot about the issue she had with the worker and her demeanor changed instantly.
"Good day mr sailor"she greeted mr sailor with a little bow and a coy act,she glanced at the man blinking her lashes.
"Good afternoon lady Elizabeth"mr sailor greeted before resting his eyes on his worker.
Mr sailor was a human, his grey hair falling out due to old age,his face had wrinkles and he was slightly bent in stature but yet the man seemed more edible all for the money he received for his good works.
Despite having two children,he didn't seem to give up on his career and rather worked everyday to earn his money which was to the people's satisfaction.
"Good day mr sailor"Della greeted the man who just hummed in reply,he didn't seem to be pleased in the situation.
He turned his eyes back to Beth who just smiled,
"You didn't answer my question lady Elizabeth"mr sailor stared at her,his brown eyes staring deeply at her like he was trying to read her mind.
"Your worker here seems unprofessional and exhibited rudeness, she doesn't know how to handle customers with high esteem, she is just a peasant"she said while glaring at the girl.
Mr sailor didn't respond and walked past Beth while the fine lad stood with no words out.
"Is that right Layla?"mr sailor stared at the girl who still knelt down.
She nodded her head knowing well she couldn't point out Beth was lying.
"Stand up"mr sailor ordered,
The girl immediately got up with her head
bowed down,
Mr sailor turned to Beth who smirked a little feeling satisfied thinking the girl would get into trouble.
"I am deeply sorry for her behavior lady Elizabeth, what do I own this visit today?"he asked,
Beth frowned thinking if he wasn't going to throw the girl out.
"I need a dress for the upcoming soirée"she replied,
"What about lady Della over there?"he turned to her giving the girl attention,
Before della could respond,
"She isn't going"Beth smiled.
Mr sailor paused,
"I do have excellent dresses for you lady Elizabeth but for our dearest Della, even though you want to be absent for such an occasion,I have something special for you"mr sailor smiled at the girl,
"Thank you mr sailor, but that won't be necessary"
Della smiled appreciating the man's gesture.
"When you need it,you can come for it then"mr sailor replied.
"Sir Oliver, let me get the dresses"mr sailor stated to the man.
Sir Oliver,Beth glanced over at him and wondered why he was getting dresses, was he married?
Mr sailor brought two beautiful dresses and handed them to the vampire.
"Those dresses are beautiful"Beth praised,
"It will fit the owner perfectly"the man responded staring at the dresses.
He walked out of the shop when Beth ran after him,
"Excuse me sire"she called out,
He paused and turned to her,
"I'm lady Elizabeth, daughter of the junior head of council"she introduced stating her status,
The man stared at her as she curtsied while glancing up at the man in a yet seductive manner,
The man turned and left embarrassing Beth who frowned as her eyes narrowed down.
She turned to see few eyes staring and she turned around and entered the shop immediately feeling down and awkward.
"How dare him?!"she cursed,
Della hadn't noticed the incident between Beth and the vampire and was busy staring at the dresses.
"Lady Elizabeth, you shouldn't speak to people you don't know"mr sailor warned,
Beth glared at the man not liking how he was pouring salt in her wounds.
"Who is he mr sailor?"Beth asked, wanting to know his status.
"Sir Oliver is the personal advisor to the
lord of west hill"mr sailor informed,
Beth eyes widened hearing his words, she knew he had a name but she aimed for the infamous lord rather since this prideful and stuck up vampire.
Della rather remained quiet not caring about the vampire.
"Your dresses are ready"mr sailor informed handing her three different dresses.
Beth looked at them astonished, they were beautiful,mr sailor was indeed the best clothing designer in west hill.
"I would go with the pink"she smiled holding the gown close.
"An excellent choice lady Elizabeth"mr sailor praised,
Beth seemed to like the dress a lot as she kept staring at the dress before the dress was rapped up for her.
"The tab should be in the usuals"Beth stated and took the bag which contained the gown.
Della waved at mr sailor who just nod his head.
"I'm going to get a jewelry to match this dress Della"Beth was excited, she felt she would look absolute best in the soirée.
"We need to hurry back home Beth"Della reminded her worried, the girl loved going out to spend extravagantly.
They spent the rest of the day in the market with Beth getting things she needed and didn't need.
