Chapter 7

I shook my dazed head and squinted at the figure over there. Not bad, pretty handsome.

Picking up my glass, I swayed as I told them, "Just wait."

As soon as I stood up, the person next to me chuckled softly. "Wait for what? You're too drunk to walk over there. Let me give you a shortcut."

Before I could react, he bent down, pinched my chin with two fingers to face him, and leaned in close, gently brushing his lips against mine.

"Whoa!" Faye and the others let out a chorus of exclamations, clearly enjoying the show. "That's too much! My eyes are burning!"

Levi's ears turned red from the teasing, a slight smirk playing on his lips. He turned his head to the side, bringing his fist to his mouth and clearing his throat awkwardly.

The commotion sobered me up halfway. I splashed a glass of wine in Levi's face.

"You ungrateful brat, how dare you ambush your old man!"

When I woke up the next morning, I blinked a few times to confirm last night wasn't just a dream.
