2006. In the forest of the small town of Brightburn, Kansas, a spaceship crashes. Farmers Tory and Kyle Breyers, who witness the explosion, go to the crash site and find a ship with a child inside. The couple adopts him, naming him Brandon and hiding the spaceship in the barn's cellar.
But I'm not Brandon.

Support and early +5 chapters

So far I've read up to chapter 5 which is that all the chapters at this moment in time it is very well written the spelling seems to be okay and I can't really fault anything with how the stories going so far as is a bit too early to tell. One thing I would like is if the spacing of the sentences was a bit wider, at the moment sometimes my eyes glaze over at the wall of text and can be hard to read apart from that author I wish you the best and I will keep an eye on this story and for anyone else I think this is a good read for what there is so far

Besides the words not being spaced out and it just being a wall of words the story is actually really interesting.
I really like the direction this story is taking. Starting from the small movie Brightburn, you've expanded the lore in such a creative way and seamlessly connected it to the DC universe. It's genuinely enjoyable to read. I don't really have any tips—just keep doing what you're doing!
I don’t know if I can write a review for myself. I just want to express gratitude to all my readers. It’s nice to see your support, numbers, and emotions. Subscribe to my Patreon [img=proud]

I like this story. Never expected a Brightburn fic. The story is very compelling that is actually descriptive and vivid. Brandon is very mature and can be childish as a cover. To be honest, I expected the story to become a conquering progression with more and more threats appearing, but those threats not existing on the world, in my opinion, makes it better. Brandon having a god-complex is something I really like, not only because it's natural for someone that powerful to be confident, but his parents are not like the Kent's with them raising Superman. Brandon's parents are realistic, and it's refreshing (love the Kent's too). The plot is nice. A mix of fast progression of power but a slow-life that Brandon wants to live in. It's balanced with creative actions while also showing us the life of someone trying to fit in undercover. Overall, I recommend this story 5/5. Nothing is perfect and there can be some overly detailed scenes but it's definitely better than a lot of fics in this site. Good work, Mr./Ms. Author!!
I didn't expect much but surprisingly it's good, you should read it.
Muy bueno................................................................................................................................... [img=update]
Great book wish more people made books based on characters like Brandon Bryer. Especially when done well like this. Author really knows what he's doing and isn’t afraid to build his own unique background for the character, further developing the world around him.

I got to say I am liking the story so far. Its perfection in every aspect of the story!!!
Honestly one of the coolest dc fanfics on here. The concept is fantastic especially when you get to chapter 7 and the story really picks up. It’s slow till then but gets way better as time goes on. I really hope the author sticks with this story I feel like that author should maybe take him into other comics like invisible and marvel as well
