Volume 3: The Tower of Blood

Chapter 9: The First Disciples

After the battle in the abandoned city, Lee Hwan brought his guild members—Jinwoo, Mira, and Kang—back to their newly established base. For seven days straight, he trained them relentlessly.

Each morning began with aura control drills, followed by weapon practice, and finally survival training using real monsters summoned from his dragon's aura realm. With every passing day, the trio grew stronger, faster, and more confident.

On the seventh day, Lee stood before them, arms crossed.

"Good," he said, eyes sharp. "You've all improved faster than I expected."

Jinwoo, panting, nodded. "It's all thanks to your training, Guild Master."

Lee chuckled lightly. "Don't get too comfortable. This was just the start."

He turned serious.

"I'm going back to the Tower. I've already delayed long enough."

Mira looked up, surprised. "So soon?"

Lee nodded. "The next floors won't wait. But I can't leave the guild unguarded."

He pointed at them one by one.

"You three will handle it in my absence. You'll recruit, defend, and grow our name. If you do it right, by the time I return… we'll be the strongest guild on Earth."

Kang frowned. "What if something big happens?"

Lee tossed him a glowing crystal. "Use this. It will send a signal to me instantly, no matter where I am."

They all bowed their heads respectfully.

"But..." Lee added with a small smirk, "you're not stuck here."

"Huh?" Jinwoo blinked.

"You can enter the Tower too. Anyone above Level 40 can now freely enter and leave. But only one of you at a time. We need someone watching the guild always."

Mira stepped forward. "Then I'll be the first."

Lee nodded. "Then prepare. I'll wait on the 7th floor."

With that, he turned toward the portal, his dragon aura cloaking him like a flowing storm. The Tower awaited.
