Origins of Blood (re)

I didn’t expect Origins of Blood to hit me the way it did. At first, I was just curious about the setting—a world where blood color defines who you are—but what kept me turning the pages was Elliot. His inner conflict, his pain, the way his relationship with Ren unfolds... it’s haunting and powerful. The writing style is vivid and emotional, almost poetic at times. Some scenes were so raw and unsettling that I had to pause and just sit with them for a moment. And yet, it never felt overdone. It’s heavy, yes, but also meaningful. If you like dark, character-driven fantasy with deep lore, moral questions, and a world that lingers in your mind long after you’ve finished the last page—give this one a chance. It’s different. In a good way.
