Chapter 39 The press conference

Rosalyn chased the worker who had locked her in the room, but she tripped and fell to the ground. She scraped her knees and bruised her arm, and she was starting to feel dizzy. Just then, Caleb appeared from nowhere and helped her up.

He was distressed for Rosalyn and asked her if she was okay. Rosalyn assured him that she was fine, but she was still shaken up by the fall. Caleb helped her to the nearest bench, and they sat down. He offered her a bottle of water, and she took a sip. As she drank, she told Caleb what had happened.

Caleb listened attentively, and when she was finished, he put his arm around her and told her that he was there for her. Rosalyn felt a wave of relief wash over her, and she leaned her head against his shoulder.

"Thank you," she said. "I don't know what I would have done without you."

"You're welcome," Caleb said. "I'm just glad I could help."

Rosalyn said. "Thank you again."
