LIORA'S POV

"Liora, are you done?" Shawn’s voice shouted from outside my door, his tone a bit impatient but always soft with me.

I stepped out, glancing around my messy room one last time. "I can't seem to find my phone," I sighed. "Good morning," he greeted me, giving me a once-over. He looked at me with that familiar brotherly pride and a touch of humor in his eyes.

"You're looking stunning," he said, and the warmth in his voice reminded me of how much he's been of help to me yesterday.

"Thank you, my brother." I smiled, remembering how he’d lifted my spirits yesterday when I felt like the weight of the world was crashing down on me.

"And I can't seem to find my purse either," I added, frowning as I rifled through a pile of clothes on my dresser.

Shawn chuckled, crossing his arms. "Think. When was the last time you had it?"
