By the time she reached the elevator, Nicholas had already caught up. "Emily, it seems you have a short memory. Maybe it's time I remind you who you're dealing with," he said, his voice low with frustration.
Without waiting for a response, Nicholas pulled out his phone and dialed a number. "Noah, check what movies or TV shows Oliver has lined up. I want details now."
Before he could finish the command, Emily snatched the phone out of his hand and ended the call, her expression cold and unforgiving.
"Is this all you know how to do, Nicholas? Pathetic power plays? Using your influence to tear others down?" she sneered, her voice sharp with disgust.
Nicholas’s fury was visible, but Emily didn't give him a chance to respond.
"If you think you can control me or those around me like that, you’re mistaken. This ends now."
