Nicholas shot him a frosty glance. "If you're so concerned, go stop her yourself."

Without another word, Sebastian threw him a sharp look and strode forward. By the time he reached Emily, the coach had already brought the horse to her, explaining the necessary precautions.

Emily turned, meeting Sebastian's worried gaze, and realized that, at least, someone cared enough to stand by her side.

"Ms. White, this horse isn’t suited for you. You should switch to another, or you risk losing control and getting injured." The genuine concern in Sebastian’s eyes was clear.

Emily smiled, brushing off his worry. "I appreciate the concern, Mr. Grey, but I’ve already made my decision."

Sebastian frowned, lowering his voice. "Even if this is just to provoke Nicholas, you shouldn’t risk your life over it."

Emily laughed softly at his assumption. "Mr. Grey, you're overestimating his significance. He's hardly worth that much trouble."
