A single bunny hopped along the deer trail. Felix wondered if there were deer inside the forest, or if the wendigo, or wendigos, had been the one to make the trail.
As Felix hopped, using the faint scent of blood to guide his nose, he listened for the rustle of the trees. Yet, nothing seemed out of place. Felix continued to hop, until he heard a small whine come from up ahead.
The bunny shifter paused. He knew that he was safe, looking as if he belonged. The wendigo won't have any problem eating him in human form, but in animal form, he was not the right type of meat. Yet, Felix didn't need to turn into a human so that he could use his greatest power.
Yes, blood manipulation was illegal, but that won't stop Felix. He hopped slower, careful to not make any sounds. He pretended to be just a bunny, lost in the forest. In search of a verdant patch of grass. One that wasn't coated in blood.
