"What a weird day." I said as I entered my house after school that day. No one had come home yet. Maybe mom might have picked my siblings and took them back with her to her work place.
"What's wrong with me?" I asked talking to one apparently. "I don't know." I opened the fridge and brought out a bottled water and drank. I put the remaining back, closed the fridge and continued talking to myself.
"Another deflated ball, a burbling teacher, so many things done and I'm going crazy trying to figure out what happened to me." I left the kitchen and started heading up towards my room.
"I gotta get a grip over myself." I said as I entered my bedroom. I went to my closet and brought out a t-shirt, I felt hot in my jacket and had decided to remove it. I put the jacket on a hanger and then walked to the bathroom to change my clothes.
After changing, I walked towards my wash basin and looked at myself in the mirror. I sighed and switched on the tap, then I splashed some water on my face and used the wash cloth to dry my face.
"I think that's better." I said as I stepped out of my en-suite. I entered my room just to see a woman who was wearing a long gown. It was black in color. The woman had her back to me. I saw her long pin-straight black hair. I became scared. Really scared.
"Who....who are you?" I stammered. The woman turned and faced me, surprisingly the woman smiled at me.
"I am Ixora." She replied calmly.
The woman held a long brown wooden staff in her left hand. At the top of the staff was an oval shape and a green gem was inserted into it.
"Ixora?" I asked confused. "I've never heard that name before." I had to pinch myself to make sure it wasn't a dream. Sure enough it wasn't.
"Yes. I am not of your kind." The woman said again.
I became calm. A little. "Ok .lxora, who are and what are you here for?"
I am here for you." The woman simply said.
l looked at her dumbfounded. "You can't just walk into my room and tell me you're here for me." I said in a harsh tone. I didn't mean it that way but then.....
"Who says I walked in?" Asked Ixora with a sly smile.
I didn't speak. In the blink of an eye the woman disappeared right in front of me and appeared in front of my dresser.
"What the.....How did you....?" I began stammering again.
"Like I said before, I'm here for you. To explain what's happening and why it's happening. Like I said before, I'm not your kind. If you want to know the truth, just follow me." Ixora said finally.
I didn't say anything instead. My hands began to glow again. I looked at my hands confused on what to do. I wasn't sure if I could trust this Ixora. I looked back at Ixora and she repeated the same question again. "What do you say? Are you ready?"
Hello everyone. Sorry for no updates in a while and sorry I know the chapter is short. I've been in boarding school and can't carry my laptop with me. But I came home for the week and decided to drop this special update. I don't really know when I'll drop an update next but it will be soon as I'm home again.
As usual, vote and comment with much love. Tell your friends about the book too.
