The setting and plot are familiar, yet this story is one that has never been told this way before. Props to the author for some genuine originality that's entertaining. Expect some AU, but hey, that's what you're here for. Character Design: Well thought out One piece characters are well fleshed out in their source matieral, and this fiction keeps them close to their original characterization. You can tell the author knows these characters well. Oc's are interesting and have depth. Conversations between individuals have rythym and character interactions feel natural. Enter our protagonist, Kai, an alien with a big secret. After finding himself in not one but two different worlds he recognizes, Kai sets out to write his own story. While smart and driven, Kai keeps a cool head. He knows his strengths and recognizes his limitations. Where many main characters squander their intelligence when granted power, Kai continues to use his mind to find creative solutions. Realizing that even he has limits. Yes, he trains hard. Yes, he uses his brain. Yes, he's not dense. And triple yes, he still treats others with respect. A real man. No xianxia protagonists here. The side characters and oc's are fleshed out nicely too. Their actions have weight as they think, feel, and express themselves as main characters living their own stories. No cardboard 1 dimensional characters here. Updates : Regularly, but that could change. Even so, the wait would be worth it. World Background The One piece world feels like One piece. Themes of chasing your dreams and reaching for freedom are well integrated into the story. Personal note: Good job on your story my fellow author and One piece fan. Don't be afraid to take breaks if you burn out. However far this story goes, it goes. I look forward to reading the next chapter. Keep up the good work. Ps.
