Synopsis

“Let the earth shake beneath my might…! Let the heavens rumble at my sight…! For I am destruction… and I shall drown this world in my spite!”

Was it fate that led him here… or the result of a long-orchestrated conspiracy?

After the devastating loss of everyone he held dear, Arcaya Nox Vondark—known simply as Ark—descended into the depths of a fractured mind, tormented by Dissociative Identity Disorder. This mental affliction made it even harder to restrain the violent, savage side lurking within him.

In a world ruled by cruelty and driven by greed, where the strong consume the weak, Ark searches desperately for a way back to his original world—while chasing the elusive answers to questions that have haunted him for years.

Hello, Author here. I’m writing this review on 06/05/2025, five days after publishing the novel for the first time (which was on the 1st of May). Currently, the first 15 chapters are out, with a total of 24.4k words in them. The novel has yet to gain any traction, so I’m writing this review for future readers (hopefully), just to share my thoughts. First things first. I’m writing this novel on a MEGA scale. It's going to be a long journey—perhaps even breaching thousands of chapters (if everything goes well, and we're still alive, that is). I’m not writing a long story just for the heck of it, or because it's a web novel and that's how web novels should be. No, actually, I have the general outline of the whole story. I even have a vague idea of what the conclusion is going to be, since this story has been brewing in my head for a long time before I decided to truly sit down and write it. Heck! There are even ideas for two to three shorter novels that are connected (yet are standalones) to this one. Not that I'm planning to write them (at least not now). Secondly. Some of you, when reading this novel (hopefully), may notice that there is a mix of elements from both Eastern fantasy and Western fantasy, and there is a mix of elements from medieval times and an advanced world at the same time. Some of you may be confused and thrown off, but actually, this is intended, and when the plot reaches a certain point, everything will become clear and connected. Lastly, I just want to say that I have no experience in writing. In fact, this story is my very first attempt, and hopefully, I'll manage to see it through. I don't necessarily hope to strike it rich or write a bestseller. My only goal is to finish writing this novel just to get it out of my head. So, to future readers (hopefully), any form of feedback or constructive criticism would be highly appreciated.
