Epilogue: The Ashes Remember
Far below the Doom Clan’s territory, in a sealed ruin buried beneath layers of stone, blood, and forbidden formation arrays, a black crystal floated silently in a void of darkness. Cracks now ran along its surface—hairline fractures, subtle but growing.
Inside, a sliver of will stirred.
Not memory.
Not power.
Just intent.
A single whisper echoed through the void, unheard by any realm-dweller, older than the stars and colder than death itself:
“The throne is mine… and I am returning.”
Above, on the highest spire of the Doom Clan’s fortress, baby Malikai slept in his mother’s arms.
Thunder rumbled once—then fell silent.
Shameless Author review, Alright, I’ll be real with you—I’m just a humble (and slightly shameless) author here to say… this is my first novel, and I’ve poured my soul into it. From the world-building to the power systems, clans, betrayals, and bloodline mysteries—everything was crafted with care and long nights of planning. Is it perfect? Maybe not. But is it EPIC? Absolutely. If you're a fan of cultivation, dark fantasy, demon clans, and a protagonist who’s more than he seems, give this a read. I might be biased (okay, definitely), but I promise you—this story only gets better. Give it a try. You won’t regret it.
So far, it seems good enough, i have read numerous novels where it starts off good then become very bad as it goes on, hopefully this is different.
Well not bad so far Let’s see how it goes
