Dungeon Rewards
Unity possessed a unique power to access every function of the system as long as she did not affect the causality too much.
At first, she was simply a 'creature' born with this unique power that had been separated from her mother on the 12th floor of the Tower of Beginning.
When KiRA found her, she was almost on the verge of dying. Perhaps it was simple luck that they met or perhaps it was fate, but he saved her.
He harnessed the unique potential she had and helped her reach heights that none of her kind would have ever been capable of.
The unique power she had developed into a unique authority that allowed her to not just access system functions, but directly go against the laws and the truths upon which it was created.
She was perhaps the only being to ever go against the system or to possess the authority to do something like that. Perhaps, that was the reason the system could not suppress her authority to access the various functions of the system.
The fact that she retained the skill at its max level along with the authority to disobey the system also showed how even the system was bound by the laws of cause and effect.
"The terms would be simple: I help you and I get 50% of the profits."
{ "Alright, it was nice meeting you." }
The crow was certainly stunned to see a sight so unbelievable.
Among their kind, there was always talk about the [Irregulars] and the [Anomalies], beings who defy logic and rules and end up doing things that make no sense.
There was no one in the tower who could make contracts with Luminaries like them. It was an exclusive privilege of the higher beings and the [Transcendents].
In rare cases, there are those who obtain the right to make contracts with them by chance, however in cases like that, the Luminaries usually deny the contract since it is their inherent right as well.
This time as well, the crow was simply exercising his rights.
"Hey now~. Let's not do that~."
Half of the profits were a crazy deal. No merchant was going to give up half of what they earned to someone who wasn't even going to do any work.
"The terms are pretty justifiable, you know? I'm helping you not only with your growth but also as a partner.
If you accept this contract, you will not only get access to all the information that I have, but I will also give you an investment of 500,000 IX?" KiRA could see this young bird wasn't a pushover.
He had exploited many Luminaries in his time within the tower, but there are occasionally some smart ones like this one.
Giving it some meat and talking sweetly wasn't going to cut it.

Beings like this crow who possess the skill to see through one's intentions, truths, and lies could also see one's status window. But how much money one possessed was another matter altogether.

The creature would have to use an active skill like {Appraisal} or something like KiRA's {Wise Eyes} to see one's status. It obviously possessed such a skill, but it did not use it until now.
{ "Huh…?" }
But after KiRA asked him to check it, the white pupil of the creature opened wide at the number that appeared on his status.

The terms will be defined clearly as well– you must specify what the 'profits' are and such things. You cannot interfere with my work, you will only help me with things. If you're fine with that, then we can make this work somehow." }
KiRA looked at him with a calm gaze with a smile on his face. The expression was so clear that, for a moment, even the crow's eyes could not infer what was going on in his head.

Ambiguity had earned him much more than any quest or system reward had. Not specifying things within any contract always led to profit if the sub-clause was typed right.
He thought this one would be easy to rip off. But the bird was showing why the three-legged crows were creatures of myths even within the tower.
"Alright, I guess we can work that out somehow." After making countless deals within the tower, KiRA didn't feel right to forfeit not only his obvious profits but also more than half of his coins.
If it were any other Luminaries, he would not have considered this deal in the first place. There were better ways to invest his money than giving it to someone who couldn't even handle it properly.
But this one was a different case.
'This is an investment.'
It was thanks to this being that he was able to level up so much. It would also be because of this crow that he gets to earn a lot more than what he was giving away right now.
Also, even if the crow was a smart one and knew the theory, KiRA had far more experience than he did.
"Do you want to look over it one more time?"

With a snap of his gloved fingers with golden strings still attached to them, he ended the suffering of the miserable dungeon crawler.

As the creature's body started vanishing along with the transparent wall covering the other side, KiRA bid his farewell to his partner.

The white crow nodded at his new business partner, and hiding the smirk and excitement that he had right now, KiRA nodded back.
They would not be seeing each other for the time being, but he was going to receive the first installment of his investment the next time they met.
"Huuuu. Now that was a fun negotiation session."

The rewards were good. For the tutorial at least, they weren't bad at all.
What he liked the most was the increase in his level and stats above the other things. The artifact item that he received was going to be useful as well, so this was a good outcome.
'The coin reward seems underwhelming compared to how much I've spent already, but this is still very good.'
Considering how one could buy a house with about 10,000 IX within the tower's lower floors, this much was more than great. He knew he was still the only one with this many coins among the players.
'Is and Z will be surprised, right?'
There was no doubt about it. That's why he actually wanted to go and finally see them all now that the first order of business was taken care of.
