Fairy Tail: The Fraud Mage

I will give the typical 5 stars review as the translator of this fanfic. It's a quite basic and nice fairy tail chinese fanfic. Raw name : 妖尾：我才不是最恐怖的魔导士

This translation is definitely better than the other one. Please do me a favor and make the MC less obsessed with Mira’s feet than in that other one. I guess Chinese authors can’t get enough of their “soft, delicate feet”.

This is one of those Chinese fic that might look good in paper but executed poorly. This is barely a story but mostly reactions of Canon characters everytime the MC, god forbid, breathes.

Okay, I gave this fic a real shot. The idea is solid. MC with deception magic messing around in Fairy Tail? Hell yeah. But man... the execution is rough. First off, the tone is everywhere. One minute it’s serious with big fights and drama, next it’s feet jokes and fishing. Literal fishing arcs. Why?! 😩 The MC feels more like a gag character than a real person. Everything’s just him tricking people over and over, fun at first, but it gets old fast. And don’t get me started on the fanservice... way too much focus on cleavage and feet. Bro, I came for the story, not your fetishes. 😒 Also, the translator keeps breaking the fourth wall mid-chapter. It totally kills immersion. Let me enjoy the story, not your commentary every 5 lines! Fights feel rushed, character development is super shallow, and the romance? Feels like it was pulled straight from a harem anime checklist. I’m not saying it’s trash, it can be entertaining, but it seriously needs polish. Less memes, more plot. If the author tightens things up, it could actually be great. Until then, it’s mid with potential. 3/5 for now. Come back stronger. 💀

good aizen in fairy tail. Some difference in the plot just to add to mc character. overall, a fun fanfic

The translation is good, but the story? not so much (at least I am not a fan of this fiction), I don't know if there is romance or not (I didn't read far) but as far as i saw mc is wingman (i didn't know about future chapters) , this story is not for everyone but most people can enjoy it

I easily recommend it. If you like a light-hearted, fun story and the concept of a guy tricking friends and enemies with deceit magic, this is your story.

This story has been an absolute delight to read. The Mc is well written, has a layer of mystery surrounding him that keeps you engaged, the rest of the cast are depicted well and the flow of the story so far has been pleasant. Overall, it’s a good read.

A good translation with no notable problems (at least I don't remember any). The story is interesting with a strong MC, but at least up to chapter 40, which is the one I read, it's not OP. There are several new enemies that, as far as I remember, aren't in the original story, so this fanfic has its share of originality, plus the MC's personality is fun. It remains to be seen if the original story is completed and if the translator translates it in its entirety. Otherwise, I think it's worth reading. English is not my first language so sorry if I make any mistakes.
