Synopsis

In my previous life, I was a light novel and anime lover. I encountered an accident and was born in Japan.

When I was a baby, I met the Nishimiya family who had just moved in next door.

Three-year-old Shoko was diagnosed with a hearing impairment, and her father decisively abandoned his wife and children after the diagnosis.

Compared with the Shoko in Manga and anime, the Shoko here changed her life because of my appearance and got self-redemption.

From then on, I had a little follower by my side.

From kindergarten to elementary school, junior high school to high school, college, work, marriage, middle age, and old age.

I participated in every stage of her life.

In the process of accompanying her growth.

Love the conecpt of the novel, People kinda forgot about shoko here in webnovel tbh. Really wholesome the idea of a novel dedicated to save and love this character, she deserve it! Really curious to see what is mc and shoko's life going to be and if there will be other Urban normal life based animes. Of course Shoko will be the single love interest.

The idea is good and seems interesting given that slice-of-life stories with simple, tender romances aren't the norm in Webnovel. Seeing them from time to time is good. Unfortunately, the final product of this novel leaves much to be desired, at least for me, since I'm always looking for immersion in a novel above anything else and this novel fails to deliver. I have some points to talk about. -There are serious grammatical issues. It is possible that the author is not a native English speaker and therefore has to translate what writes, this generates problems with sentences that lose their meaning in English. -The flow of the novel feels forced and extremely rushed. The difference between a well-done time skip and one that isn't, is that in one it doesn't matter after the time skip happens because before doing it the idea of what would happen would be clear, in the other you have to explain what 'happened' during the skip "and this and that happened because of this and this" better show it. -The narrator switches frequently (from first-person narration to a third-person narrator) in a completely random and inconsistent manner. An example of this is the protagonist speaking his thoughts in first person "I like apples", even though a paragraph earlier there was an action, done by the MC, described to us by an unnamed narrator "And MC told her". -Finally, what truly killed my immersion in the novel is that the narrated ideas repeat themselves from one paragraph to the next, for example: "And A answered by staring at him. And because A was staring at him, B felt strange." And so on, my example may seem like an exaggeration by showing it simply in this way, but I'm not exaggerating when I say it occurs throughout all the chapters A LOT. Overall like I said at the start, the idea isn't bad at all. I can imagine what the author is trying to get at; unfortunately, the author fails badly when puts it into action. If anyone wants to give it a try and, unlike me, don't find the lack of immersion a problem, it's definitely a read that can be read without any problem. I wish the author good luck and I hope my review doesn't dampen the enthusiasm for writing.
