Moving to Vale was supposed to be the start of something normal.
Jaune Arc didn’t expect much, just a normal high school experience, not embarrassing himself on his first day and perhaps even some teenage romance.
However, on his second night in the city, he fell asleep... and awakened somewhere else.
A place of ruins and destruction where creatures of nightmare prowl. A place ruled by a cryptic System that seemingly had its own evil agenda.
Jaune's only hope is to learn the rules of this new realm before it takes a bite out of him.

The story follows Jaune Arc in an Alternate Universe world which has a modern, Earth-like setting. The Nightmare system is tied to the Dream Realm and Jaune isn't the only person who has access to that realm. The Power system in this novel differs from the Original Show in which it revolves around Runes. I hope you enjoy your reading experience.
