Too much wonder kid action makes the pacing atrocious. Everything is diminished by the amount of time spent with an under 10 lead man. Harry Potter started at 11 for a reason.

The start was good, it reminded me a bit of the Stars of the Realm fic that I f%cking miss so much. But I’m not sure why the author changed the tone of the story; it kind of derailed for me and became a bit too "comic," if I can say that. Still, it's entertaining enough to pass the time, and I’ll keep reading to see where it goes. One last criticism I have is about the pacing—20+ chapters in, and he's still a child. I get that some people enjoy that, but I think it could be sped up a little. Keep up the good work, author.
